There are so many factors to consider on every client. Elderly have more. Instead of being critical, stop and consider the client's desires (neck, hand, shoulder pain?) As for facial hair: maybe that was done AFTER the cut; maybe her skin is TOO wrinkly to shave without cutting her and hurting her; her skin is probably too delicate to wax; she may have started hurting from sitting too long. She may have requested the cut even though YOU think it's not a great style. She's getting a haircut & hairstyle, not plastic surgery. I think this stylist did a great job for this specific client.

Layers are always a mistake

Wow! How did you cope with your client??? She did not stop for a breath, how can someone talk so much???? Love the colour of her hair and I'd love my hair to look like that at the back, but short at the front. I don't know how that would look but I can't stand hair over my face & ears.

I wish it was possible to have an ear length bob ( level at the bottom all around) with very short layers throughout ( not choppy) I so dislike a bob that is short + layered at the back & around the ears (that seems to disassociate the lovely layered back from the front bob look)

The first thing I say when I sit down in a stylist chair is do not I repeat do not texturize my hair. My niece is the same way. My daughter is the same way it thins it out.

Just when I thought it was gonna be a great haircut without all that texturizing chop it up and thin it out. I hate that my God how do you ever re-cut that? It’s disgusting thank God Hair grows.

I am 69 forever, it's important you know that! So 40 years ago I worked in a salon. I noticed some hairdressers give the same cut to everyone or a slight variation. Day in day out the same cut or color or style.
