I am planning to buy either 85 mm Kase or 100mm Apexel lense for digitising my 35 mm negatives. My question is with 100 Apxel can it capture 40x 40 mm object with crisp focus and no distortion on edges and at what distance from the object this is achieved? Which lense will you recommenfor my purpose?

Yes 100mm will be good get with LED light so that if you need extra light it will help.

@@helloansuman Thnks Anshuman, frankly speaking my application requires minimum distorion on edges, but I tried Apaxel 12X and it can capture only 30 x 25mm and with lots of negative distortion and colourabberation, of course its a toy lense, but before I buy a better lense I want to make sure that it could capture field of view 40 x 32 mm with minimum distortion. Light is not an eiise for me since Negatives are well from backside back light infact I need to do it in low light room so LED frame is of not significance to me. I wish I could share with you grid pictures i took
