2 роки томуThe game between top ranked Alabama and Texas A&M had an ending to remember as the Aggies stunned Alabama. Alabama took a 38-31 lead with 5 minutes remaining, but Texas A&M quickly answered, evening the game at 38-38 with three minutes remaining. On the game tying TD pass, Texas A&M Zach Calzada was injured and had to be helped off the field. Texas A&M's defense forced an Alabama three and out on the following possession and got the ball back. Zach Calzada heroically came back in the game and led the Aggies all the way down inside the Alabama 10 yard line. Texas A&M kicker Seth Small nailed the game winning field goal with no time remaining, giving the Aggies a stunning 41-38 win over Alabama. With the loss, Alabama's streak of 100 victories over unranked teams came to an end.

So I'm a UA student and I went to this game and the one thing I can say about A&M is how nice their fans are. They would just walk up to me and ask how I was doing and how the drive was from Tuscaloosa and how happy they were that we got to come see the game. Even in my seat I was surrounded by aggies and we talked to each other the whole game and I am thoroughly convinced that they could have beaten any team on that field that night. You just had to be there. Very fun trip despite losing and I believe everybody should experience Kyle Field at some point in their life; its indescribable. Roll Tide

Same experience but coming from an LSU fan that was at the 7 Overtime game a few years back. I bought tickets that were in the Aggie Section and they told us all of the traditions and even locked arms to be a part of it. Good soup!

When you play at Texas A&M, you aren't just playing the team, you're playing against the entire stadium. Their fans do not let up through the entire game. The team deserved this win and so did the fans, well done A&M!

You can barely hear it in this clip, but we were all yelling "CAL-ZA-DA, CAL-ZA-DA," as he was being carried off the field, and again when he came back out the next possession. Absolutely insane game and insane atmosphere from the very beginning, I can't imagine I'll ever go to a sporting event that tops the amount of energy in the crowd last night.

@@justindorsch235 Maybe you live in a different place, I don’t know, but I can tell you living in New York State, more specifically upstate, areas that are either liberal or conservative have guidelines in gas stations that have instructions regarding masks. Even though it is not written like this and that I don’t remember the exact words of it, an example would be like “those that are vaccinated are not require to wear masks” or “those not vaccinated are require to wear masks”. Maybe where I live their less restrictive, you could make an argument of that, but so far, and even though it may have occurred in the last few months where I haven’t witnessed it first hand, I have not seen anyone complaining in regards to wearing a mask in gas stations.

Texas A&M crowds are the best in the biz, been watching the Aggies for years. They just don't let up, it's definitely part of Aggie tradition. Go to one of their games and you'll leave in shock at how electric and loud the atmosphere was. All their games are like this.

@@Luke.1mm I mean, when the schedule was made, Clemson was somebody and don't forget Auburn-Georgia is the deep south's oldest rivalry - so anything can and has happened between those two. Also, UGA (as do all Georgia teams) can and does shit the bed. Bama is known to be SEC's unbeatable Team, not UGA - as this is the first game they lost since Nov 2019. Also, I'm not sure who/what you're comparing UGA's schedule to; just because they're not playing other top 10 teams every week (who is, exactly?) doesn't mean their schedule is cupcake. Give credit where credit is due. If we "ain't playing noone" at least we haven't yet let "no one" beat us this year. 😉

I had the same feeling. It is what it is... but by missing a kick for an extra point and then failing to make the two-pointer to catch up. the Gators provided the Tide with their margin of victory. The Tide looked vulnerable.

Calzada spent his freshman year at Blessed Trinity HS when I was a senior. I'm still not sure why, but we called him Timmy. He was about annoying as a freshman could be. But even back then he threw a really good ball. Zach if you see this, I can still smell your fear. Congrats man

that overturned targeting call was such a terrible call. he was being held by three players and this dude comes and blows him up with helmet to helmet, the very reason for the call

Are you referring to the Aggie player who nearly got ejected? I understand not wanting players to hit head to head, but when the defensive tackler has already dropped his shoulder to come in and tackle you, you can’t drop down so he hits you in the head. Its dangerous for both players and its on purpose to draw a foul. That’s not what the rule is in place for.

Really like Cholula myself. I practice mis piropos (pickup lines) con las monjas ahí (with the nuns there). More luck and fun are the bars La Lunita, Borrego y Casa Alemana... I'm 3rd gen German-American from Hamburg, New York. This place could be Germany --- VW, Audi, Siemens and other plants und operations here. Lot of German speaking tourists too. Take care... oh! Yo -- B.S. Mathematics, Purdue University... 1974. Great win for the Aggies. I kinda sure that Purdue would have trouble with either Texas A&M's or Bama's injured reserved teams... but, the games are still fun.

@@RTWest-kn5fr Yes, I got to know some Germans (with V.W.) when I was there. Nice for me b/c my mom was born and raised German, so we spent quite a few years living around family when dad did his tours of Vietnam. And piropos! Being obvious gringas, my Iowa roommate and I learned to deal with those with our own comebacks (although we found it was best to just ignore.) That was 1984, shortly after graduating from A&M. Yes, I don't take games too seriously, but must admit this one brought us some joy. Cheers!
