3 роки томуVN24 - 20.04.2021 - Erwitte-Anröchte / Germany - In the early hours of the morning at about 05:44 o'clock, the driver of a semi-trailer truck on the A44 highway between Soest and Erwitte in the direction of Kassel (eastbound) left his lane to the right for reasons unknown so far, got onto the unpaved shoulder and the semi-trailer finally lay on its side in a ditch. To recover the vehicle, 26 tons of grain first had to be pumped into a replacement vehicle using a suction truck. Then a towing company used a salvage vehicle to put the truck back on all wheels and pulled it out of the ditch with winches. The driver of the tractor-trailer was apparently uninjured.

That was handled very well, getting the trailer back on it’s wheels, and finally towing with the DAF tractor unit still coupled to the trailer.

First thing I learned doing vehicle recovery (Army) is NEVER step over a live (connected) winch rope... EVER. Especially when it's under load. Ever seen what happen when one breaks? Cab of a truck was cut in half... There was no one in the truck at the time. Gave up counting how many times it happened in this video.

Great recovery, but did they really leave the strap holding the hydrolic tank attached to the trailer? A hard left and that strap would either break or rip the tank off.

Für den Trucker noch ziemlich glimpflich um vom Unfall reden zu können. Davon abgesehen dass aus JIT (Just in Time) JOOT (Just out off Time) wird und der arme Kunde letztendlich den schwarzen Peter in die Hand gedrückt kriegt.

Unbekannte Gründe????Ein Grund könnte wohl sein das die wenigsten Fahrer noch zum Luft holen kommen.Und gerade bei solchen Ladungen wie eben Getreide,Sand usw geht der Ärger schon los wenn ein Kollege am Abend eine Tour mehr gemacht hat.

I have seen far more efficient recoveries in far more awkward situations. Personally I think the recovery crew were not experienced enough to 'handle' the 'big stuff'. They made a lot of work for themselves out of a simple job, - they had to be told by the 'older gent' to put the trailer back on its wheels first, and as for that strap on the trailer tank, - I see that has already been commented on.

the rotaor "heavy wreckers" you use in us is for the most part to week for the eu trucks, eu trucks is almost allways at max gross aka 44 t (96 500 lbs) ,then its no use bringing a rotator thats only cabable of 40 000 lbs, then you need a rollback,and a flatbed, so the difference is usaly weigth related, and if they needed a crane ,there most certanly would have been one....

Glaube nicht, das hier der Gripp das Problem war. Und bei dem was heute so auf den Fahrzeugen sitzt, spielt die Reifenmarke auch keine Rolle mehr. So wie die überall drüber- und vorbeiknallen, rechnen sich die billigsten Pneus am Besten.

Il savent ce qu' ils font sauf que d attacher la sangle du réservoir a la semi promet qu' au moindre virage a droite ou a gauche la sangle ou le réservoir vont se rompre , il s 'agit d' un véhicule articulé et ont ne peut pas relier les 2 éléments mobiles ensembles .
