Only in the beginning, give it a couple of months and you will find that the whole language dependes on repeated suffixes.Turkish is a very well organized and logical language.

I guess the hardest thing for the Europeans to learn to prounounce Turkish correctly is the "R" letter at the end of the word. The Turks pronounce it one way when speaking fast, and another way when speaking slow. And they seem not to be aware that it sounds nothing like R but more like zh or sh.

I am taking Turkish class and I realised that Turkish vocabs and Malay vocabs have some similarities. For example: Kücük = small. Kecil= small, Masa= table. Masa= Time Çiçek= Flower. Cicak= Lizard Hayır= No. Hanyir=fishy Güle güle= Good bye. Gula-gula= sweet candy Dünya=The World. Dunia= The World I am excited and looking forward to learn new knowledge in my Turkish class!

@@iz6870 First of all, you shouldn't force yourself to grasp the alphabet well, grasp the mouth movement of each letter well, but it is very normal that you can't do it well at first, it is a very normal harsh language and the word meaning and mouth movements may change depending on the mood Turkish is a more emotional, that is, intuitive language, when a word is angry, happy or any. the situation may vary, the way to overcome this requires a lot of practice and listening.

First I learnt little bit of Korean and Chinese after watching kdramas and cdramas, then I know a little Japanese because of watching anime and a few Japanese dramas and now I am learning Turkish after watching Turkish dramas. Is there someone who can relate? ( well, I am also on my way to learn Russian and Spanish not because of dramas, simply because UKposts recommended me)
