We say "iyi haftalar" instead of just "iyi hafta". Its plural form of hafta. Unlike Spanish, adjectives do not change by the nouns plural/singular form.(iyi remains the same when hafta changes to haftalar) + I would suggest you to say "Ben İspanyolum" instead "Ben İspanyalıyım". It's not wrong but doesn't sound native. It gives impression that you're not Spanish but born in Spain. For example there so many Turks in Germany. In Turkish Almanya=Germany. If someone says that someone is Almanyalı, we assume that they are not German but Turks who live in Germany. If this person we talk about is German, we would say that they are Alman. I text this to help not to criticize, don't get me wrong. Hope it helps. Have a nice day Buenas dias !

Im French and speak German and English fluently. As Im kinda getting bored of Romance languages and have a good grasp of the Germanic languages I have been looking for a different kind of language. Arabic is quite intimidating with all the signs. Turkish seems easy to read with the letters ü and ö, which exist in German. Also it sounds cool. Moreover, the Turkish women look so beautiful so Im giving it a try. 😁

Oh, my word! I've been teaching myself the Turkish language and the things you mentioned here are among the ones I've been having trouble with. For example 'sen mutlu musun'. If it's translated directly into English it sounds really silly because you're then using the pronoun 'you' twice in the same sentence. This video clarified so much for me. I haven't taken courses or anything, just learning on my own. I understand it better than I speak it. You've just boosted my ability to speak better. Thank you so much! Best wishes from South Africa.

@yunusy5545
@yunusy5545 2 роки тому
Yeah, it has to do with the case endings. But also because of the case endings, you can simply say "mutlu musun", the "-sun" part already signals that its for the single person you're talking to. "Sen" means "you", but both "Mutlu musun", and "Sen mutlu musun", means "are you happy".

Actually, Turkish is not difficult , if you practice it, you can learn it easily.But there is an important think here that sometimes even we cannot understand the Turkish of oldest in our country, I think we need to learn their Turkish from them.
@Raven_Black_252

Yes, we don't use pronouns in generally because they are already within the sentence in suffix form. But you can use them to stress a point in your speech, for example "benim evimde kalamazsın". If you look at this sentence and add a context such as: you are having a quarrel with someone who you share your house with and you don't want them in your house anymore. With anger and the heat of the moment, you would stress "my house" part and say "you can't stay in MY house / BENİM evimde kalamazsın", meaning this is my house and you want to underline that part in your speech. We use pronouns in specific situations like this to stress something. Hope it is informative for you.

No, "ğ" has a specific sound in the Turkish language. For example, if you read the word "ağaç" like "aaç", it will sound completely different according to the rules of the Turkish language. Unfortunately, all the instructors I have seen so far teach wrong soft g's pronunciation. As a native Turkish speaker, I'm saying again that the letter "ğ" has a special sound and does not have functions such as connecting two vowels or making the letters read long.

@@wkrooozistyle6881 let me remind you that Turkish is much more phonetic than almost all the European languages (maybe all, actually, but it is beyond my knowledge). Turkish doesn't have irregular verbs or irregular plural forms. It always uses the same sentence structure for any tense unlike English and German which have different structures for different tenses. It also has an actual reading system, unlike most of the European languages that pronounce the letters differently depending on the structure of the word (and most of the time in English, reading is independent of the word structure).

hanimefendi video için lidırıli teşekkürler. ilk beş dakikasını izlememle birlikte vaat ettiğinizi bana verdiniz. kalan on beş dakikayı sadece sözünüzü kesip saygısızlık yapmamak için izledim. gerçekten çok verimli bir zaman harcaması oldu benim için. yaptığınız şeyin bedelini ödeyebilmemin mümkün olabileceğini düşünmem namümkün. umarım içerik üretimine yaptığınız kümülatif katkı zinhar son bulmaz.

Special note for the letter "Ğ" at 7:20 (Türkçe açıklamasını altta ayrıca yaptım, okullarda bu konuda eğitim verilmediği için Türkler bile bunu yorumlarda tartışıyor, bu nedenle bu önemli bilgiyi, okuyalım, öğrenelim ve öğretelim) The official language in Turkey is Istanbul dialect of Turkish. Surprisingly, Istanbul dialect is not phonetic as opposed to Anatolian Turkish dialects (that means it is not read as it is written). In Istanbul dialect, the letter "ğ" is not pronounced as explained in the video. However, in Anatolian Turkish the letter "ğ" has a specific sound of itself which is something like the "r" sound in French as in the word "Paris".

As someone who has been living in Turkey for the past 6 years I have got better but I am still a little hard to understand because of my stutter. This video is very helpful and would recomand for many people who have started Turk'sh and its VERY easy! The reading is so easy! sure there are many long words like bulunmaktadır which is just an example of the long ones! But they get easier and easier once you the hange of ü ö ç ş and ı because many long words contain many of those. So Hope everyone can have the greatest time learing Turkish!

Yavas yavas deneyim kazanarak ogretilebilir bence.
