Someone won comfortably all right, score went from 21-6 all the way to 42-28 before the Bucks giving up a garbage time TD to make it look closer. The Bucks took a sledge hammer to the vaunted Bama D.

This season was just one to remember. One of the most unlikely, Cinderella-type seasons in college football in recent memory. This season REALLY left an impression on me.

I loved Desmond Howard's prediction the best -- "Cardale Jones will be stressed mentally and physically." All were wrong and I'm not going to diss them as the game is behind us and not many people, including me, thought they would beat Alabama. Cardale proved EVERYONE wrong!

Kamal Porter As an OSU fan, I can respect that. Picking the #1 seed to beat the #4 seed beforehand is no shocker, especially considering we lost to VT that year. It did end up being a great game. Here's to hoping for another matchup in the 2019 CFP!

SGobuck I literally said, here we go again. My Ohio State team is going to get rolled by another SEC team, here we go Alabama is going to roll another team, but then once we scored and made it 21-13 then the 21-20 after Evan Spencer's TD throw to Michael Thomas. I knew we were going to win that game.

BAMA did Not have the DEFENSE this year they had in any of the previous years. After watching what Ohio St did to Wisconsin I picked BUCKEYES in this game.

I’m an Ohio State fan and I agree with all of the their analysis. Ohio State lost to an AVERAGE Va Tech team by 14 points, and they got dominated all game long, they had one marquee win against Michigan State which was a good win, but Alabama went through the SEC West which is the toughest division in football. Ohio State was on their third string quarterback. Ohio State hadn’t won a national title since 2002. It took them overtime to beat a bad Penn State team. Ohio State did not have a good resumé but they proved they were the best team in the country AFTER the playoffs, not before

I remember this all too clearly. And too be honest, even though my Buckeyes had a better shot than they most people were giving them, I pretty much agreed with the panel here. Ohio St WAS a year ahead (ironically, missed the playoff the next year), and this was a great Bama team. But tOSU knows how to win big games, and this one was sweet. Cardale was all the right stuff and Zeke was a force.

Where were you in 2014? Getting your but kicked 42-35 by our 3rd string quarterback while you were heavily favored and over-ranked. Alabama and Clemson have both lost 2 CFP National Championships - we've only lost one! Even Alabama can't win them all with their Buckeye family tree Coach Saban. There is no Alabama coaching family tree worth talking about like the Buckeyes - Paul Brown, Woody, Bo, Bruce, Holts, Carroll, Saban, Tressel, Meyer, Dantonio, and now upcoming Herman and Fickel..... When Saban retires it will be over like it was when Bear retired, and you'll suck for 30 years again, unlike the Buckeyes.
