Has to be Loma vs Campbell for me. I don't think most people will appreciate that fight until some years later. I see it as a once in a lifetime master that is evolving the sport against the second best man in the division and it was one hell of a fight. Tremendous skills and character in both corners.

Fights of the year?...the 1st fight, Beltran vs Okada, set a precedent, pertanent to the title of this video, that did not seem to apply to the rest- except the last one- Valdez vs Lopez, in that they were intense, competitive and had very evenly classed fighters. The rest appeared to me to be dominating performances- not saying they weren't great fights but...from this highlight alone did not appear to be the stuff that FOTY candidates are made of. Some are suggesting Inoue vs Donaire was the real FOTY, I'll have to check it out. Seems like Top Rank just picked a catchy title to showcase some high adrenaline fights- maybe the folks over there at TR really do believe these were the best fights of 2019, but the fact that Loma is on the cover image, suggests a sliiiiiiight bit of hype may be involved. Not that Lomachenko is a hype........ Also Beterbiev has been under the radar for a long time seems like, it was cool to see him unify. Seems like a fighter with class. In case you ain't guessed I like to write about boxing. Oh and the ref stoppage in Valdez vs Lopez was atrocious.
