Christopher Knapp actually you’re wrong. a McLaren 540s is actually a lot worse than a Lamborghini Huracan, yet is more expensive. Yes, may perform better but quality is hellish in comparison. Friend of mine has 200k on his Huracan, the other friend with the McLaren didnt make it to 30k miles before it busted and needed 10k repairs.

I was on a wait list for a 2024 Eray but could not wait. I retiring in December. I got off the list and purchased a used 2023 convertible Z51 about 2 months ago with 970 miles on it. I love it, It was supposed to be my weekend car but I find myself driving it a little every. No excuses needed. I hope yours comes in on time.

I went with a black exterior red interior 2LT convertible. I just can't wait. Z51 looks great, but a extra $6300 wasn't worth it for me since I'm not going to be tracking the car really. No regrets on your purchase, I take it? ;)

​@@huskytales9839 No regrets on the purchase. Mine is a 2LT (which I like) but, like you, I will not track the car (I think). So I didn't think I needed the Z51 package but I like the responsiveness from the tighter suspension. It also has mag ride. I don't like summer tires or the brake pads that came with the Z51 package. I'm in Maryland and plan on driving year round (not in the snow) but summer tires are only good down to about 40 degrees. The Z51 brake pads generate ridiculous amounts of brake dust so I replaced them with ceramic kevlar pads which produce less brake dust and stop just as well if not better. I also ordered all season Michelins and a set of custom wheels. I wish I had the from lift as my driveway is steep and I must approach it at a 45 degree angle. Overall I'm happy with the purchase so far. It's a great value. It's literally half the price of the Porsche 911 Turbo S that I planned on getting. At my age I don't usually drive fast but the 6.2L pushrod lacks the punch of an double overhead cam engine above 115mph. Its not bad but I just notice it compared to my Mercedes CL550 twin turbo 4.7L. The C8 does not accelerate as fast above 110mph while the Merc keeps pulling up to about 135mph(its governed at about 155). The C8 does have significant torque from standing start. I've manage 3.1 seconds 0-60 in less than ideal conditions. My C8 beats the Merc by a full second to 60mph. I've only been up to 121 in the C8 which is plenty fast for me. They say the top speed for the Z51 is 184. I will not test that theory. These are just my observations.
