the saks one made me so mad. every door you opened was literally ONE pump of product. you can just go to the store and pump way more out of the free samples than you even got in each product. definitely overpriced. (for me at least) 😭

For brands like M.A.C that aren’t as popular as they used to be, idk why they don’t just make an advent calendar filled with ONLY their most popular products so like Whirl, Cork, and Teddy for the lip liners….those are the most popular ones, and then the matching lip sticks and maybe a Prep&Prime setting spray. As for e.l.f, they should’ve put in their most popular products from this year so like their lip oils, and blush and contour wands.

You could use the paint pot as a color corrector under the eyes maybe 🤷🏼♂️ it’s a peachy color that might cancel blue tones and brighten the under eye 😇

the thing that annoys me about so many beauty advent calendars is that they have the BIGGEST boxs/ compartments yet the products are absolutely tiny and they’re all SO EXPENSIVE

I've no real idea what to get them that they'd want but I know they wear makeup and this presentation box looks impressive. That's one job ticked off a long list".

You should try the ‘Style Korean’ advent calendar, it’s skincare and some makeup 😊. Full sized products with free shipping. James Welsh did a video on it but never finished opening them all 😢 btw huge fan of your videos! Love your humor and mua skills! 💕

i hate getting unwanted colors too, but it is nice to try the formula to see if i would like to buy them in a shade i would wear (the affordable brands like elf and nyx)

I have the M.A.C advent calendar this year. And love the full size products, but find my self hoping that it is not gonna be another lipstick since I don’t use them often enough. What would be absolutely amazing with M.A.C or other brands with a store, gave you the a wishlist of products you could choose from maybe 50 different products including foundations and other “skin tone” products. And you would have to wish for 35 diffent produkts so the element of surprice is stille there. A employee from the store can then put your advent calender togethers for you in a advent calender box. 😍

I just thought of a great video idea: For March Madness what if you and your friends did a "makeup product" bracket. Elf Primer vs Nyx Primer, then if Nyx wins it's Nyx vs Fenty ect ect? That would be fun to watch! Then we'd get to see the best-of-the best products

absolutely not. MAC had shit products don’t even lie to urself, I have the makeup revolution advent calendar and not only was it heaps cheaper, the products are actually good and useable 💀 MAC had not only like 20 lipsticks in the most horrific shades ever, but the single shadows were the ugliest shades to ever exist 🤣 so many beauty advent calendars this year had actual good products that people like unlike MAC with their ridiculously expensive advent calendar 💀💀😂

To be honest, if it was me opening those advent calendars, I would be more than grateful what was in them. Especially for someone who doesn’t really dabble in color. I obviously don’t have as much experience in make up as you, but I would be pretty excited especially the one with the samples I love tiny samples.

I love painted products my favorite color is the pinky promise because it has really good shade, ofc it is a bit bright, soft, lovely color,and also I love how the created paint has made i know it is a bit of expensive for me but it is super worth it i used it in any events even my girl bestfriend loved it and please james release more colors because people are obsessed with it and loving it❤❤
