Interesting results but it won't be representative of real world use because some phones deliberately avoid throttling the speed scoring software that you are using. They do this to get the best score at the expense of getting hotter and thus using more power. It would be much better to give them a program that puts a consistent load on the processor like running a youtube video in a loop. This would simulate graphics use and radio use in a way that is more representative of normal used, and the kind of battery life people will get in their everyday usage.

Should have used a common daily apps use in smartphones to simulate a real-life usage, not a benchmarking. No one uses benchmarking on daily basis.

I think you forgot the fan on the Red Magic 9 pro. Is not like anyone will play games on it without the fan running Also the Redmagic is technically the newest phone so it still has to receive some updates. It will perform way better in the future. Overall i am surprised about the iPhone and the S24 Ultra as they usually are the worst in these benchmarks

Not a correct test. As a redmagic 3-5-6-7 user real life use is different than gaming. Obviously using benchmark test redmagic device will use alot of power drawing to give the best performance and sustain stability performance. This is why redmagic battery finish first. Since the performance when gaming are tapped at 90% to give the user rhe best perform

@@kevinortega678Don't want to say anything about the fan bit, but the pro+ has a 5000mah battery though. The Pro is the one with 6500mah. The one in the vid is the pro+

@@kevinortega678 It's in the name, gaming smartphone, so optimize it to play even emulated games stably. The fan is used to dissipate heat and therefore use all the power of the processor and graphics processor, and not restricted like other phones. And then you can always turn off the fan, if you really want to test the durability of the battery just do a test with normal use, it can last two days with moderate use. It should be remembered that for $650 for the first price, this is the most powerful smartphone you can find, there is not yet a phone as powerful and less expensive.

@@kevinortega678You are legit one of the dumbest people I know. The reason you don't block the fans on a gaming phone is because it will cause the phone to overheat which makes it use more battery. Also this is the pro+ which doesn't have the 6500mah battery. Also most of these test youtubers do they sent the phone to its max. The reason red magic died first is because he's using the 5000mah battery and red magic has better specs compared to every other phone so of course when it's set to max it will use more battery.

You covered the cooling fan of the red magic. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't work as designed. Redo test and space the phones out.

Thats not a fair battery test. RedMagic normally pushes the processor to the max. Thats why it has the best stability at the expense of more power consumption. The others do not make full use of the processor, so they have lower stability and lower power consumption.

This test shows how optimizations play role , One Ui ( True Android King vs Ios 🎉) OnePlus really disappointing once used to best performer now with such big battery bad performance and fast battery drain , Vivo proved it has caught up with samsung in camera and now slowly catching with the Ui ❤

Like the mate 40pro+, p40pro+ and mate 40 rs Porsche? I'm confused, s23 ultra seems to have an optical and be the best zoom mobile on the market up to date.

i have vivo x100 pro and Nubia red magic 8 pro the vivo battery is a big flop 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 it discharge very fast the nubia steels twice the time than the vivo even at nights with no signal on wifi off data off it drians by 10 % 🤦🤦

I've been looking for Red magic 9 pro battery test. I've got my answer thanks to this video. The iPhone seems really good at managing heat and saving power. I'd like to the test again but all phone being at 60hz.

The test is not really realistic, the red magic in benchmark will necessarily turn the fan to use all its power constantly, in truth it has good autonomy with normal use, because with the switch to switch from gaming mode to Normal mode you can significantly reduce battery consumption.

@@AnupomAG not necessarily (it depends on the settings) however it impacts the frequency of the processor, the processor uses less power in "normal" mode than in "gaming", and therefore consumes less. On the other hand, in benchmark I believe that almost all the parameters are at maximum even in normal mode (because the phone knows when a benchmark is launched on the phone).

nothing surprising happened here. Apple produces results according to its lower performance than everyone else, as does Samsung with its "overclocked" snap8gen3 (it’s actually strangled so as not to stand out too much with the same Galaxy, but on Exinos). Yes, yes - you can reduce CPU freqs by 10-20% and get one more hour of work on oppo. Vivo simply switched to power saving mode and that is why it showed such low scores in the end. The best in this test is Oppo.

This is already the second video I've seen, well it confirms that there have been changes between the s23 ultra and the s24 ultra. Then here comes the problem of the Oneplus 12 which wasn't there in the other video even though the temperatures were there. Oppo bad news... While Vivo it has done well but the temperatures are not optimal, but Vivo has a mediatek. 😅
