Did you bought the global or China version? I would really want to buy the X100 but don't no if it's working properly in the Netherlands or Europe.

@@muchomalo100 Then buy the global version of the Vivo X100 Pro which has the key B20 bandwidth network that you need in Netherlands and most Europe. The Chinese version does not have this bandwidth so you may have reception issue.

The quality of the pictures has almost nothing to do with the camera itself and almost everything to do with the person who operates it. If the person who used the Vivo X100 Pro had been operating the DLSR, the resulting photographs would have been even better.

DSLR isnt terrible because it is the original as whatever you seen by eyes. Vivo X100 pro has AI to generate the photos. Vivo x100 pro is more for beginner who doesnt know how to process the photos or people who dont have time to process.

I'm also so glad they improved things because boy was it disappointing on the first few firmware updates. A bit like the Xiaomi14 Ultra right now. Still like you I'm waiting for even more to come! Plus of course the X100 Ultra.

@@Techtablets absolutely mate I think they were struggling to get a handle on that new 1 inch sensor, xiaomi might be as well, vivo should have an advantage being able to optimize it properly before releasing their ultra beast. Oppo also had to take a magnet out of the OIS system in the 6x periscope lens due to space constraints, I guess that's why it was such a a jittery mess at first. But it's a lot better now, wish the aperture was faster on that lens like on the Xiaomi 5x but you can't have everything 😆

Bottom of the line is IMX989 is still the same sensor as LYT-900, which is an improved version of IMX989, not a new one, but seeing how it performs in comparison to IMX989, it seems like they exaggerated how improved it really is. It is a little better in some aspects, but nothing that cannot be compensated with good software, which is what Vivo did with X100 Pro.

Vivo deserves a lot more praise here. Vivo does NOT rely on their chipset for image processing, they literally made their own Vivo V3 ISP to handle all camera stuff. Mediatek is still piss useless in the flagship space, explains why you can only see Snapdragon or Exynos internationally.

@@wearefromserbia9714 Antutu scores don't measure camera processint performance buddy. And it's the most important part of a flagship SoC. And Mediatek has a piss useless and beyond garbage NPU, which is why Vivo needed their own V3 NPU to cover for their shit chip

Partially agree. but you can disable some of that in Vivo. The clarity of the pics on Vivo is on next level, I had both s24U and X100 pro. pictures on x100 pro are great. S24u hit or miss.

I have this same issue. And I shot a lot of video where I find the X7 Ultra is better and better mics. Vivo video can have focus issues and the mics are bad but then those zoom and day shots + macro are stunning! If the X Fold3 Pro is as good as it looks I will sell the Oppo And X100 and keep the X Fold3 Pro until may the Vivo X100 Ultra coming in about 3-4 weeks 😂😂

Thank you for the support, it's nice to hear after so many silly fanboy comments that Vivo paid me, Oppo pained me etc. It's a shame the US doesn't get them or they work on your carriers i'm lucky they do here and in NZ. Spain seems like a perfect place to retire!

@@TechtabletsXiaomi 14 ultra, oppo 7 ultra and vivo x100 pro are all nice looking options though I would like to have 4x decent quality cameras. My current phone already has a similar setup to the Vivo albeit with older and smaller sensors. It's jsut that the Vivo has done well in tricky situations and has a good clarity although sometimes almost AI styled. Seems to work at night photos really well
