Great reaction man, you captured the same awe I felt watching this episode. This has to be one of my favorite episodes of anything ever lol. The 100PB file was the VR presentation of the San Ti explaining the Sophon. & The "origin size" of the Sophon is basically just the original size of the proton so- unfathomably small- way smaller than what we can see. & The reflection was because the Sophon basically just turned into a mirror while it covered the Earth. One of my favorite parts is how you see the Sophon literally just knocking around the data in the computer which resulted in that image that confused Saul & other scientists in the first episode. Apparently from everything I hear, season 1 is baby stuff compared to whats coming in the next seasons 💀💧

The idea of sophon is so sick, in the books. What they really do is, step by step, lower the 11 dimension subatomic proton and unfold it to 2 dimension which is large enough to wrap the planet... Once unfolded and stabilized, it looks like mirror and they start etching the cuicuits on it's surface and load it with an AI software. Once completed they step by step configure and stabilize it in each dimension till it's back to its original sub-atomic size retaining its supercomputer properties... which they call sophon. In subatomic size, it is invisible, it can travel at the speed of light and technically can be anywhere, anytime on earth... They use it to smash subatomic particles during science experiments to cause interference or to etch numbers in the human retina or to spy... While in unfolded state wrap around earth which they use it to make the universe wink at you 😉... The main objective of Sophons was to lock the human progress, so that further scientific discoveries can't be made for the next 400 years till they arrive... At this point the fate of humanity is sealed, and there's nothing that can be done... It's just there, always watching and interfering with science...😅😅
