Just printed a (nearly) total set of keycaps in OEM profile for an Amiga 600 mechanical keyboard using keycap generator on thingiverse. First I also tried fdm printing, but it worked only with flat top, not OEM profile. So making keycaps became my first step into resin printing. The results worked out great (after some fails). I did it in translucent green (as I got 2l free resin with my mono X) just to test if it works. But it did so well I now thinking about how to add backlight to the keyboard... The downside of printing keycaps of your own: It is very hard to stop. It is even more hard to stop with resin, as there are extremly nice but expensive resins: Like ceramic resins containing nano ceramic particles and have look and feel of ceramic. But 125€ for 0.75l. Still, I am quite tempted to buy it...

The top of the keycaps seems smooth and flat. Is this really smooth or the roughness doesn't show on the video? Did you sand them?
@nambot2 роки тому
Might be hard to see with the video quality. I would say they are bumpy but not rough. I did not sand them at all

Hey man, waht settings do you have for your ender 3 in ybe slicer, ib never got around using that slicer because i didnt know what to put
@nambotРік тому
Hey! I'd say use the default settings and go from there. Each printer is different so you have to calibrate your settings as you go. Key cap no sticking well? Add a brim or lower the z height or increase first layer flow. Too much stringing? decrease nozzle temperature etc... There are many guides on how to calibrate your print, you can google it!

@@nambot Very nice. I love TKL. I thought that the branding were 2 usb pass through (at least it looks like it in the video) and I was genuinely amazed.
