What struck me first was your humility. Then it was your absolute genius and intelligence. Then it was your ability to get so much done in five years, (which most people wouldn't accomplish in twenty)! I am still gobsmacked and in awe that you have managed to do so much in so little time! Please tell me - when exactly do you get time to sleep and do you have any down time to relax!? My goodness! You must work around-the-clock to accomplish so much! You have shown many of us that what most people would regard as impossible, is actually possible. I commend you and I please ask you to keep posting for us all, so we can learn from you and to also inspire us to do better. You a legend my friend and I would love to see your place one day and lend a hand if I am able. I am from Wales originally, so it would be my back yard that I would be coming home to. Would be an honour and a pleasure to help and to learn from you! Serious offer by the way so just let me know! I'll send my hubby round to help you too as he would love to learn from you. @The Writer possibly usally the case with these types of youtube stories. However Google says the UKposts channel is worth about 56k a year! So he must pay tax on some kind of self employed basis. I just wonder how you afford to start this kind of project especially as the internet says he was working in a ship yard before (his position there is not disclosed). Buying land and securing planning isnt cheap. Im a joiner and would love to find a way to hide from the capilatist world and practice my trade in aid of myself and family but the cost to start is inconceivable to me, not with living costs as they are. As a working class lad i mean. Family money would be wonderdul and if i had it i would use it so i dont think we can hold it against him.

There is probably a good explanation but i kind of do wonder why the "genius" spent money on wood to build his house with so many perfectly good trees in the surrounding forest. I mean if the point is doing everything yourself and you don´t have a lot of money then why spent it to cut corners on the most basic and locally plentiful resource? Get chopping bro.

@@1112viggo Lol really? You realize that you can't just chop down trees to make boards. You would need to have them milled.

A. You’re a genius. B. You’re living the dream. C. I’m totally jealous of what you’ve done and what you have. What you’ve done is nothing short of totally amazing…well done and you’ve given me something to aspire to.

I'm an older lady now. I didn't realize that what you've built is exactly what my life has needed all these years of living on the grid. Looking at your video has been therapeutic for me to say the very least. If I could turn back the hands of time...what you have is what I'd pray for. What a beautiful, peaceful, blessing.🙏🏾
