You know, from personal experience, it’s interesting that one may like to eat food than cook. But once you start getting into the cooking process and deeper you get like cuisine techniques, art, culture. It becomes more fun and enjoyable. Of course it's not easy. Ups and downs is the journey. Baby steps are worth it if you genuinely enjoy the process and able to appreciate the hard work put into cooking it :)

listening to music takes the boring aspect of cooking for me... i've learnt that even if it takes more time, doing things at my own pace gets me speedy results than rushing myself to match others' pace :)

I cook for me and my mum, mum taught me how to cook when I was young, started out small things like baking cookies etc watching her cook dinners, remembering the ingredients and the steps in cooking, leading up me looking up recieps online or in cooking books to see what I would like to try. I love to cook. but we do have a regular schedules certain foods lol like sunday roasts, whatever meat we feel like during that time and we change it out each sundays. (if i buy big sized meats I cut in half before cooking one half for the night the other half will go in freezer for next month) Sometimes we get super lazy and get already cooked roast pork from supermarket (slightly costly but worthwhile) if we had leftovers from sunday night sometimes we have it again next night, no biggie still tastes great, but some people uses the leftover meat for other type of meals like meat pies. (unfortunetly I don't like shepherds pie) I sometimes make extra crumbed chicken (I use tenderlions chicken) and freeze the already cooked crumbed chicken to have another time. spaggetti sauce is also another thing I cook extra. some meals that you cook too much of it that can be freezed up in the freezer for a lazy dinner night. great way to save up on food scraps, especially it is only two of us. I sometimes bake (really no actual baking involved) cheesecake in cupcakes size and keep some out for to have few days while others are in tuberware in freezer for another time... Love your orgainizing skills and display, trust me that will no longer stay that way, lol, we tried to orgainised our pantry and fridge and freezer similar like that lol but they ended up getting messy again... same with pots and pans cupboards lol stay constinance and you will be right.... lol
