47484 Need to be restored back to its former glory ASAP (LSL need your help! ), alway noted on the GWR Paddington to Swansea Service during the 70/80's in BR Blue standard livery, I believe it was painted in GWR Green for the 150 GWR Celebrations in Late 1984 Early 1985 , I saw it at OOC open day in September 1985 where there was a few of Class 47 in Green & a Class 50 in Green & many BR Class 50's on the depot along with a vast of loco's present, they were the days for the Rail Enthusiast's.

Sad to see Brunel in that state after its many years as a polished mascot in Great Western Green livery.

Good video. What is the future for they locos and wagons?

As far as I'm aware the locomotives there all have a future. I know the gentleman who owns the 37 and 47 would like both back on the main line. As for the wagons I couldn't give u a answer sorry

"Where Gronks go to die" It's so disappointing to see them in such a forlorn condition.

Not necessarily, Andrew Goodman manager there said they try and give as many new lease of life. 47484 and the 37 both planned for a new life!!!
