Even after Shay's biological mom surrendered her rights, the couple wasn't sure that she'd end up as their daughter. So when they finally got an adoption date, they were elated..until the Covid-19 pandemic closed the courts the day before their adoption.

Our son's birth mom hugged me and thanked me the day she signed relinquishment papers. I cried all day knowing our joy was someone else's extreme, heartbreaking sadness. Our son melted down in the court just prior to the actual adoption also. Time has gone by so quickly. He is 6 months away from being considered an adult. Enjoy every minute w your baby. Blessings

Thank you for sharing our adoption story and was nice. I have a question I 'am and new Jersey I want to do that also I want to know the agency adoption I can go for the license .thanks
