What flair skill for an older player; even Ibrahimovic who is an absolute legend of the game, had the physique, strength, height and intimidation towards defenders to score but not the same pace flair tricks and dribbles and goal output (assists this season is amazing too), that Ronaldo is capable of. Mind you, this season Ronaldo’s team chemistry is absolute fire and they all work so well together (defence needs work however), and they all respect each other and get along without the diva massive egos and jealousy of many stars on one team (United), I know Ronaldo has ego but for the others to jealously compete with him and ball hog or purposely not feed the ball when open or create team rifts is absolutely delusional for them to think they are on the same or competing level; sure many there have more energy and dribbling some players and press, but his absolute coolness instinct and experience in front of goal are just some of the many attributes he was left with to fall back on with age (when once being the designated everything in his prime), along with being the greatest header of the ball still decent and beat weak foot scorer, penalty scorer, one touch or even volley finishes, and instinct with the counter attack. He still pulls out the occasional free kick goal (3 this year), and he scored quite a few outside the box goals for his age is quite impressive, and some solo run goals. What a legend!
