Sometimes a piece of info (assuming the facts inside are accurate) is NOT a total lie, it may be bits of facts you pick from the info and interpret differently from your fellow citizens or a person with a different political ideology. Example, Ms Maria Ressa( a true liberal democrats) may intrepret in Manila one way and Ms JingJing in Beijing interprets it another way. So, do you think a Liberal Democrat interpretation of the facts is Only Truth? I don't think so.
