When I moved out of my parent's house, I bought a TV, VCR, and this movie from a local pawn shop. I used to put this movie on when I got home from work every night like it was the evening news. This movie was the background track of my life for some time. Got me through it. Even now I watch it at least once per month. The GOAT. No questions asked.

I was the same in the 80s,watched the movie endlessly,read the books,everything I could then I was beside myself with excitement when they did the Alien Wars experience in the 90s. Queued up for hours to be the first in with friends and it lived up to all my teenage expectations. Was terrified but it was so realistic I couldn't believe they pulled it off. Don't imagine they would do it the same now with everyone so health & safety conscious but it's a treasured memory for me.

This is still my favourite film ever, followed by The Matrix and The Empire Strikes Back. Seeing Aliens on the big screen for the first time when it was released, it was packed and all the audience was spellbound. Decades later and I still remember it as if it was yesterday. We went in as audience and came out as survivors

Objectively, both "Dark Fate" and "Genisys" are pure sh*t, yet he lauded them both (he even co-wrote "Dark Fate" if i recall ?) as a part of the hype train marketing. I cant imagine he did that for free :)

@@OIdSoIdier I strongly disagree. Alien 3 is a horrible sequel to Aliens but is actually a good sci-fi movie when compared to others in the genre. It isn't nearly as bad as everything after Predator/Terminator 2, and as much as I love Aliens, it eliminated some of the '80s camp that was present.

Have always loved this movie. I remember seeing it in the theater with my Dad when i was 15. About 10 min in, he leans over and says "I don't remember any of this". I was puzzled as hell by that so i ask what he meant. He said he had seen it in before years ago and since i loved scifi and was old enough now, he wanted to take me to see it since it was back in theaters. .. I almost lost it laughing, he really thought he was taking me to a re-release of Alien. He really had no idea it was a sequel until i told him.

This is my all-time number one movie. It is the perfect movie,in that it combines action, suspense, horror and sci-fi in a perfect blend. The cast were fabulous, and Jim Cameron ensured this is an all-time great.

Alien War came to Glasgow Scotland way back in early 90s .. it was about 20 minutes of sheer terror and laughs at the same time ..fantastic experience.. we had a plant in our group and how he met his demise was so well done ..I hope they bring it back best £10 I ever spent ..

The guns sounded real and then the Plant / Actor getting taken as the elevator doors opened was pure drama, I was the 3rd person out of there. My uncle still has scares on his arms from young girls fingernails clinging onto him for dear life. I went back again when It came back to Glasgow, was not the same experience, but was still great.

I can't wait! This was the first rated R movie I ever saw in theaters. My father, an ordained "Baptist" minister bought the family tickets. I couldn't believe it. To this day, I've never had a movie-going experience that was THAT much fun. Nor one that was THAT frightening! I was 12, had only seen ALIEN once the week prior, and was NOT ready for either film. It was an AWESOME summer to be a kid!

I was about 12 years old, peeping through the keyhole from the living room door behind the couch, where my father and mom where watching it, after the big scare, the first alien appeared, I was invited to watch the movie till the end from the couch. Still my favourite movie of all time and I'm glad it is hitting theaters again.

I agree with all the positive comments, but no one has mentioned this movie had one of the best musical scores of all time by legendary movie theme composer James Horner - whenever I want to get pumped up, I listen to Aliens: Futile Escape on my stereo -I can picture all the action in my head as I listen. Combat Drop and Ripley's rescue are also fantastic sections of the score. The score is soft and creepy at times when the horror on the screen is somewhat subdued and booms out with trumpets and tubas during the climactic battles. BEST MOVIE MUSICAL SCORE. EVER.

Tremendous movie, lost count how many times I've watched it. Also how many versions of it I own, VHS special edition, DVD, Blu Ray, box sets etc. Very rare in a movie when all the characters stand out like that too with some unforgetable one liners , "they're coming out of the goddamn walls". ;)

I've always loved that movie to bits. Went to see it 27 times in a THX-equipped theatre. Got the soundtrack on LP, then on CD. Got the movie on DVD, then Bluray. Got the paperback version of the movie, plus the official book. Never get tired of it.

When part 3 of the movie came out, I was never so disappointed in my life. I couldn't understand how someone could destroy such a unique experience and enjoyment that Cameron created in part 2. Still one of the top 3 sci-fi movies ever made.

Both films were amazing. I just hope, instead of releasing nostalgia film like this, they create new ones with as much quality as those two.

I was SO hyped when I for the very first time watched the trailer for Aliens. I recall it was shown before Stallone movie Cobra. I went additional two times to watch Cobra in the cinema, just to watch the Aliens trailer. This was before you could just loop it on UKposts. My friends warned me, that I risked being disappointed being that hyped, but boy my expectations got redeemed. The best sequel ever. It is hard to compare Aliens directly with Alien, because they are so different after all.

My favourite movie of all time, and I watch a lot of movies. I've seen it so many times that I almost know the script word for word. Never gets old, never gets boring. If you haven't seen it, what on earth are you waiting for??????
