@northernangler1878 He can. I hope he is able to get far with the current heavyweight giants. We have already seen his fight with Jalovo in the Olympics with a record of 5-0, and did pretty well in the second fight. He may be short, but we had Mike Tyson, Joe frazier, Rocky marciano, David Tua, Sam langford, and even Andy Ruiz. I'm interested to see where this would go.

When he gets past the record padding portion of his career im excited to see what he can do in the upper ranks. Hes got good power, a high punch output for a Heavyweight, and hes young and hungry. I hope he does well we need a quality US Heavyweight.

@@Outrider1962 Chin of glass and yet he's never been properly knocked out. Anderson's defense is weak, and Joshua would exploit that. You can't just constantly wing punches at every opponent and be an elite fighter. He'll go down like Kownacki if he doesn't change his style.

Anderson needs to be careful. I think he gets a little bit too over aggressive at times and he walks into punches. He deals with that - I think he's the goods. I think he's a future champion.

It hadn't dawned on me till watching each of his 14 fights just now that he reminds me of a larger version of Joe Lewis the Brown Bomber. He's not a flashy fighter, he's deliberate & has the quickness of maybe a Super Middle Weight, but the power of an old school heavyweight like Lewis. He puts his weight behind ever punch. This guy's a generational talent.

You are right I have watched all his fights and though he is making incremental improvements he should have been vastly more improved after 14 fights. With all the attention he is getting he may be put into actual danger against higher level opponent way before he's ready based on a shiny record built of a flimsy foundation. His power is real but until he learns to be more defensively responsible he is going get hit is return with similar power and the question remains can he deal with it. Regardless of what you think of Charles Martin he is 29-3 with 26 ko's so Jared better not get careless, however being 37 and coming off a 10 month layoff while Jared as been busy. How he looks against his first credible name opponent (though far from elite) will tell a lot about Jared.
