@@karl8805 You saying MVDP didn't want to win? You're a fool if you believe that, he wouldn't have started if he didn't think he could win. What was MVDP in training for that's bigger than Amstel this month other than the Liege-Bastogne-Liege that Pogacar was always going to win? Pidcock had illness and missed vital training at the beginning of the year - you seem to have forgotten to mention that when mentioning MVDPs previous wins and how Tom was 'dropped hard'. MVDP was only 30 seconds back from a small group of 4 but couldn't make the gap. Face it, Tom is always going to better than MVDP on this type of race.
