Dia go deo leat! You should be a documentary voiceover, Jason. A wildlife or natural world programme set in Ireland or Scotland sounds so much more appropriate in a Celtic tongue, don't you think? I recall TG4 did one here in Ireland a couple of years ago and it was spectacular, I wish I could think of the name.

Aw, tapadh leat. Thank you for your kind words. 🙂 I agree - more tv programmes with Celtic language voiceovers! I aim to do something like that in future videos, now that I know it works for short ones like this. I plan to do some traveling this year and I would happily make a longer immersive video about it. 🙂

@@GaelicwithJason Can I ask you, Jason, what your thoughts are on English filler words in spoken Gaelic? Here in Ireland I'm rather disheartened about hearing "you know", "I mean", "like", "yeah", "so" and "well" creep into Irish conversations during pauses. I find it terribly jarring, especially the first 3 there, you'd never expect them in Spanish or German, so why in Gaelic? At least "well" has been Gaelicised as "bhoil". "So" sounds like a fundamental sound, it can maybe get away with it. Are there native Scottish Gaelic fillers? Go raibh maith agat!
