I’m a former marine up in Wisconsin, I get out in the deep woods and I live on a distant side of a indian reservation, I holster a 45 anytime after the sun goes down on my own property, the bigger national forest up north have a few campgrounds in the middle of nowhere, and a few campgrounds indefinitely closed. You couldn’t pay me to stay there overnight and a lot of locals make sure they are out of those forest by sundown and they tread lightly during daylight. I agree that you should always assume you are being watched and have a plan.

@@ekimnamdets6946civilization just doesn't understand. Saw a Dogman in Talladega National Forest East Alabama/West Georgia at night. I thought it was a wolf or cougar by the silhouette and then it stood up and I said fuck. that. I was 14. I live in Alaska now and things are much more interesting with the Native Folklore of the surrounding locations and history. Otterman is popular amongst the Native History by luring people in with whining sounds and then dragging them into the water. Les Stroud (Survivorman) was recording an episode when he experienced something massive tear through the upper trees at the shoreline as if it were climbing like a primate. Whistles, hoops, and whines can be heard at night in remote areas of the Kenai Peninsula. Port Graham was a town that closed down due to its poor accessibility but it has a fascinating Bigfoot/Otterman history along with it that makes one wonder if there was more to the closure of the village. Everywhere there is Native Folklore, I'm all ears. Colonialism pushed out Native Peoples without giving any thoughts to their history and cautions of the surrounding areas and I think it's our duty to understand all aspects of history so that we can be self-aware everywhere we go.

77 year old teacher Brenda Hamilton was mauled to death by what many now believe was one of these cryptids. This happened in Pantego NC in 2019 which is less than 60 miles from where this encounter happened. It was a gruesome, horrific fatal attack that happened around 5am while she was walking her dogs. The police were very forthright and transparent in the very early part of the investigation until DNR was brought in. Then they became tight lipped and eventually blamed it on what they claimed were a pack of feral dogs. When she was found she was unconscious in severe shock in the water in a ditch on the side of the road but later died in the hospital from her severe wounds. Her dogs were unharmed and sitting near her body. Initially the police released some information; i.e. she had claw marks up around her shoulders and neck and deep puncture wounds in her scalp and it appeared that she did put up a fight against whatever attacked her. But that report was later changed to "wounds all over her body". None of the reports mention that there were any signs of an animal feeding on her so it couldn't have been a pack of coyotes and there aren't any bears in that part of NC and even if it was a bear, there was no tracks or DNA evidence of a bear. Per the initial reports of the wounds being on her arms and head, these are typical defensive wounds if your attacker is your height or taller which is a huge clue right there; i.e. If dogs/wolves/coyotes had dragged her down, you would expect wounds consistent with such on her legs and no doubt, her dogs would have been attacked. If a cougar had attacked her, they prefer a surprise attack and typically go for the neck. The deep claw wounds were bad enough that some investigators thought they could be from a cougar, but there was no DNA evidence indicated a large cat - only K9 DNA that was "undetermined". It is entirely possible that it was one in the same creature in this encounter that attacked Brenda Hamilton.

Heard trees the size baseball bats being snapped all around, and was struck with more than one thrown objects, sticks and rocks . I spent most of that night with a machete in one hand, and a 45 in the other on my knees, bracing for an attack that never came. I was terrified for a while, never had anything like this happen out of hundreds of trips to deep bush locations. I dont tell many folks, nobody would ever believe me anyway. You nailed it my friend. That's EXACTLY why I responded to this video and am in the process of writing my own encounter over 30 years ago. What got my attention was when he said he heard the popping noise and that's what happened during my encounter. After initially toying around and bluff charging from the darkness it revealed itself on all fours but when it stood up there were 2 distinct sounds I heard in my nightmares for years. Loud whooshes of air escaping from somewhere, almost like if you turned on a valve of gas but much louder and a fast burst. I can't remember how many, but I would say 4-8. Not sure. The other was the loudest of crackling, crunching, almost sickening sound of bones breaking or big limbs snapping. I've wondered if it was it's way of rearranging it's skeletal structure to become bipedal. That's the only thing that makes sense, but in hindsight none of it "made sense". It was just otherworldly and indescribable. I'm in the process of writing up my entire encounter which occurred to me and a group of friends around 92 I believe. If you are interested I'll have it finished soon. Thanks for your comment

They’re not hard to find like this and go and walk those tracks around 2am one Saturday night by yourself. Make sure to bring a really bright flashlight and if you have one hair on your ass you should whistle loudly as you stroll down the train tracks at night. They will hear and spot you faster so you won’t have to wait long before large chunks of stone starts getting tossed at your backside. I won't go into all the details, and I'm trying to block most out, so the nightmares will not start again...but the sound when the creature went from four legs to bipedal was so strange. It was a combo of air being pushed out very hard and fast and the sounds of bone breaking. 2 quick "pshhhhhts" (like when air suddenly escapes a balloon) and the sound of someone cracking their knuckles x1000. The fact we now know things like this hunt in pairs or packs says you'd have practically zero chances of making it out if you encountered one.

Don’t want to be a stickler but it’s more like stay on the road , don’t go over the moors. The moors (for anyone that doesn’t know) in the north uk are just an endless Moorland , no light, it’s like being stuck on the desert but grass, swamp, fields , mudlands. Eventually you’ll cross into a village etc like in the movie. As far as i know i may be wrong, they don’t have that near London, but I may be wrong, I come from the north of England, I don’t believe that werewolves exist it’s just fokelore, trust me where I come from if they existed there I would have at least heard about it.

Hate to pop your bubble but they are just great liars. Very good sociopathic liars. Can't spot them unless you got thr back story first. When I was a little kid I used say to myself, "There are monsters in the trees" like anytime we'd take trips to places in the woods, camping or staying at cabins. I didn't even know about real life werewolf or bigfoot stories yet. It's just something I was able to sense. Once when we were camping I did see a wolf. Not a werewolf 😅, just a regular looking one. He stared at me for a moment and then just walked away. For whatever reason, I didn't feel afraid of him. He left me be and I went on my way.

Holy crap that was SO well done! This was a very tip top production all around and his testimony was one of the most realistic pieces of dialog I've ever witnessed in relation to the subject matter... I've seen other so called witnesses retell their story in such a lackluster and monotone way that it's hard to COMPLETELY believe em but not this guy. Wow. There are a lot of adventurous people out there who welcome stuff like this...I kinda like breathing and not a fan of surprises... Whether you believe or not, don't ignore that safety warning in your head... Sometimes it's not that loud so you ignore it... But a campground is not something worth pondering about... If it don't feel right, it won't hurt to go elsewhere... Don't tempt what you don't understand in the least

I know for a fact there are unknown creatures in the woods, I've seen large canines on 3 different occasions in my small town in Florida, my last sight, I saw a huge Hyena looking creature run across the road in front of my car in broad daylight, it was the size of a horse, the back legs were shorter than the front, it's upper body was massive, it remained me of a bull with how muscular it was, it had a dark mane running down it's neck, the neck was long and muscular, it was the same color as a deer, I can't imagine running into this thing in the woods, alone, and unarmed, I'm sure these things are responsible for a large percentage of the missing 411, I will never go out into the woods again without a shotgun or a rifle, I know there are people reading this and laughing, I don't blame you, I thought this dogman thing was just a fairytale but seeing is believing, I use to be a sceptic that would laugh at any story like this but when you see one of these creatures with your own eyes, that scepticism quickly goes out the window

I have family who live in this area and have been from Creswell to Roanoke Island more times than I can count. The highway they are traveling on has wide canals/ditches on both sides full of dark water and forests as far as the eye can see. Miles and miles of woods and swampland until you get to Roanoke Island (you do have to cross several large bridges to get there). I know black bear, deer, wild boar and even coyotes are abundant in the area, as well, which would mean a creature could survive unnoticed quite easily. Hunting is also a big thing in this area, so I wonder how many hunters have stories of sightings of strange creatures, but just keep them to themselves. Also, the area is made up of very tiny communities/towns, so if a strange vehicle drives by, people will watch. Those guys were probably just outside enjoying the evening and watched an unfamiliar vehicle drive by - its a small town southern thing, I guess :)

We set everything up and it was dark when we finally settled down. Ass kicker. Lol. We then shared the same experience. We heard a baby crying bloody murder for 45 minutes straight. Just at the tree line. We were petrified. Not a chance on Earth of there being a baby there. We ended up staying the whole 4 days. Young and dumb at the time. My whole perspective changed after that.

Some tips when camping out in the woods or forest . Never keep your back to the forest , allways have a backup or emergency escape plan , carry a spot light this will enable you to see things from a great distance ,listen to the different sounds , if you feel uneasy leave immediately, use a tactical retreat which in this case would be trying to keep an eye on the threat while you are leaving the area ,allways let someone know where you are camping , make sure cell phone is fully charged , Carry a weapon if possible more than one , carry a container of bear spray ,At night if possible camp away from a heavy woods area , don't travel alone , be prepared to use your weapon if necessary and if attack by man or beast identify your target and never make eye contact . Remember it's you or it. Shoot first , ask questions later . Good luck .👍 P.S And stop taking chances. Some of you people enter nature like its your back yard . Excuse my language. Dave Leidy here. I really know better than to read the comments…but… To be clear….we are not “City Folks” or Flatlanders. We live in far NE Vermont and my town has a population of 12 with one paved road. Half of us have electricity and it is an hour to the “city” of 400 ppl. We are seasoned campers and I’m at home in the forest & mountains. I fish & hunt for dinner. Not much scares us. That did. I have gone on to and still research this phenomenon and have learned much. (Best way to face your fears) I have been on Vic Cundiff’s show (Dogman Encounters)about 5 times. This is episode is 95. I think that the film company did a great job on this (with Alf on crack for a DM!) The only issue I had was the Chevy!! Really, there was too much to portray in 30 minutes. Check ep. 95 on Vic’s DER if you want more. These guys are out there. Keep your head on a swivel and be armed, but don’t let it keep you from the woods or what you love. They are very rare-unless you look for them. 99% of time Sasquatch & DM will avoid you-unless you meet rouges like we did. Oh…and unless you are prepared to meet ANY wild animal, stay out of very remote areas. I hunt there and I’m always careful. Thankfully we don’t have alligators in VT. Normally I stand my ground. Not this time. (There actually 4 of them) Stay vigilant -Dave

Seeing a werewolf in the fresh is scary, the pure evil look in its eyes and the teeth, what I saw was so evil I felt my soul trying to escape from my body. I'm glad now that I'm a Christian that I really understand about evil beings that exist on our planet and I have The Lord to help me if I need it,but still don't want to really encounter things if possible, life all ready has enough to deal with nowadays,I've had a few encounters with other things you couldn't see,but I felt them,God protected me,that is why I'm able to pass on my experiences alittle, evil beings exist on our planet and they don't like people,be wise and fellow your gut instincts about places and situations, get to a safer place God bless you

@@ajronlejdi2525 I don't mine saying. My encounter was 2002, I was 21 at this time in age, now 44. I stop in the town of mauston, Wisconsin. I was and still currently a truck driver. I was park at the pilot truck stop and went to the bar across the street to the old Holiday Inn, currently own by another company. I hook up with a blonde from Netherlands, exchange student. We partying through the night and later to a bar in town until it closed around 2 am, I think. She was driving her yellow car, I do not recall what type. We departing traveling out of town to the country side, we wanted to have quality time together. Her idea was to stop on some R&R track's with a clear field to the edge of a tree line. I believe we was south of town. She was on the front hood, while facing her. The only light was from the car lights. We both was kindled a bit. A few minutes pass, out of know we're, a massive Howl, slash growling louder than a lion roar abruptly straight behind my back, as I my back was facing the dark. It piercing the very inner core of my flesh and soul. Pure fear, and as my blood ran cold, to the point of being scared to death, if my hair could of turned white it should have. I felt a massive creature behind me and breathing on my neck as it was taller than me, granted 6'1 I am. She lifted up slightly seeing the fear in the reflection in her eye's.yes, I seen too. That of pure freight and death. My drunk Ness, went hollow and very sober , even so much that my heart was in my throat literally. The thing that bothers me was its stealthy and the ability to kill me or both with a snap of a finger. Some thing I've never forgotten about. The next thing I honestly recall was driving her car side ways all the way back to my truck and town. She was so scared she spent the rest of the night with me in my truck until daylight. We both did not sleep, I did re visit her 1 time 1 month later but only at the hotel. To this day I do not travel into the North wood's in Wisconsin, dame especially in this area. I stay in well lighted area's when I pass through period. Understanding I grew up in the wood's including fishing. I understand wildlife very well. No, it was never nor a normal animal of any kind or sort. I will go on record or such, that what we encounter was a werewolve that night. I gew up my whole life with a passion of stories and monsters, especially werewolves. My views forever changed, I don't care who you think you are or how badass you think you are, you don't have the balls between your legs to face one in the wild in the pitch blackness if the night. Never turn your back to the Darkness, ever as its a final warning to each person who receives this 💯. We are not alone, we've never been alone. The movie Bad moon, is the closest I can compare it with, looks and sized. This is my story and my actual account and truth. Yes, I'm a native of Florida not Wisconsin either. Yes, over the year's ive seen UFO activity three times I recall in the area's. Im very serious about my word's, no I do not joke about anything I've said. They are truly Apex predators, Humans are not at the top of the food chain eaither....

When I lived in Texas, I had an experience with what I always called a “werewolf.” I was in college at the time and driving home around 11pm from my job. There was a huge cow field behind the development where I lived and I sometimes preferred going the back way home because it was more scenic. I don’t even recall if there was a full moon. I saw what looked like a cow by the fence and decided to scare it, pulled over and started laying on my horn. I don’t remember if I heard anything. I just remember what I saw. That thing got up, it had to be over 7 feet tall and I sat there staring at that thing and he was staring at me before it took off running. I sped home and I remember how terrified I was to get out of my car. I didn’t have a garage clicker and I knew it would take me forever to unlock the door. Well, it hadn’t followed me so I assumed I was okay. I don’t remember how long it was after the incident, but I was running on my usual trail that snaked around the front of the development and there was a huge cow leg laying in the dirt. Clearly way too big to be related to coyotes or another animal. I always assumed anything that could kill and dismember a cow would have to be much larger. That was the past time I experienced something that I related to that. We ended up moving not long after, but I still think of it.

@fef.8 Pettigrew State Park campground is a safe place to camp. Lots of people camp there all the time, so the ranger wouldn't have sent them away. This couple just didn't like the campground. It's primitive camping. Some people only "glamp" with full hook ups (water, electricity and sewer). There are swamps at Pettigrew, but the whole thing isn't a swamp. I think this couple maybe didn't research the campground ahead of time and then it wasn't their cup of tea. But, like I said, lots of people camp there. We prefer to camp at state parks vs.RV resorts, but to each his own.
