MANAGING PULL REQUESTS WITH SWIFT @ JUST EAT

Scaling up a team of engineers means scaling up the number of pull requests that will be opened. This is a challenge we faced on iOS at Just Eat: a typical issue was having a long list of PRs to be reviewed and merged the day before the release cut.
To solve this, we built a tool in Swift using AWS Lambda, GitHub and Slack APIs that we called PR Assigner.
In this session, we’ll walk you through the history of how we managed iOS pull requests in the past, what tools we use to increase developer productivity and knowledge sharing and finally we’ll show you how to use PR Assigner to manage PRs in your app.
