It already is on certain apps, along with screenshots. I can't screenshot my bank app nor can I screen record it. Same goes for Netflix, though that's definitely more lame/stupid.

I feel like that only makes sense if you assume someone has unauthorized access to your device. Why shouldn't I be able to record my own screen?

Do you know how to enable the Satellite messaging option? Is there an adb command to invoke the string and can you share what it is? Also do you need to be rooted?

Plenty of apps allow screen record when an app blocks it. I use it now for plenty of things from work when needed.

It'd be better if Google something like Moto phones that have multiple volume for different apps. Like we can set various volume levels for UKposts, Netflix etc. Not a set volume level for the whole phone.
