Watching this again made me feel how great of a game ACNH is, even when the hype is gone (for me in a sense), it still hits our hearts on how great this game really is, even after all this time.

Man, I'm at work, listening to this 3 years later, and emotions just hit me hard. There's something about going through rough times, keeping your head down, and pushing through, just to get to the other side and finally realize what a grind it was. I've seen some people saying New Horizons saved their life. For me, it gave me consistent happiness and contentment during a time when it was in short supply. I'll always be grateful for that.

2020 really was a blessing and a curse at the same time huh? It sucked we couldn’t go outside, but at the same time it gave us time to just relax and do nothing but play animal crossing. It’ll certainly go down in history as one of the most unique years of all time- and I’ll remember it for what it did right; starting my love for animal crossing :)

I remember it was 2020 COVID-19 and it was my birthday… my dad knew I liked Nintendo games, and asked GameStop for the most popular nintendo game out right now and that was “animal crossing new horizons” my dad came back from the store and I remember I was in my room literally CRYING because I had nothing to do I couldn’t see my friends, I couldn’t have a proper birthday, and it just SUCKED! And then my dad comes in the room and he holds this download code for a game and I remember looking at the card and I said “oh isn’t that the most popular game on the switch right now?” And my dad said “yes I asked them for the most popular one and this is what they had” so I typed in the code and get greeted by Timmy and tommy in the airport I remember my look at the start of the game was black hair with the blue-polka dot shirt and the tan colored shorts and my sister came in the room and had asked what are you playing? I said that dad had got me this game and my sister asked if she could play and I said uh ok and she made her character to and literally that entire 2020 was just me and my sister playing animal crossing good times… Gooood times…

Everytime i whistle or hum this, i get a lump in my thraot and teary eyed. Such a nostalgic song, regardless if you play Animap crossing or not.

ACNH is such an important part of my life. It connected me with my family during Covid, we spent hours on each others islands and in voice chat. We weren't close before the game, but it was a reason to come together, and now we have a shared history and closeness. When I hear this music it reminds me of my family connection 💕

The early months of the Covid pandemic, i bought ACNH because my friend was excited for it, and i of course wanted to join in with them and play.. We didn't play together much (because their in Austria and im from Canada) but when we did it was fun.. waking up and booting up the game to hear this theme will always be my favorite
