I like how he referred to the Cabinet room as being cathedral like because the matters discussed in there have such enormous consequence. I've studied The White House a lot for over a decade now and I've never heard anyone put it quite like that.

This has the same vibe as showing your friends your dream house

I'm always surprised by how small and intimate the White House is compared to the enormity of the United States presidency.

Beautiful Oval Office. Very personalized. Like the RFK bust. Each Oval Office administration has there own style that reflects the occupant. Thank you for opening the doors of this famous space with grace and dignity. It's a rare thing these days

It was nice getting a sneak peek of rooms we don’t usually see on the White House tour! That JFK portrait is wonderful.

My Grandfather, who sadly passed in 2017 when i was 23, had that exact same 67’ Corvette. There’s a wonderful picture of me and all my cousins and our Grandfather sitting in that car and it’s a picture I cherish greatly.

You'll notice that the carpet in the President's private office has a gold star motif, which is basically code for areas that are strictly off limits. You might recognise this detail onboard Air Force One too, where this exact carpet seperates spaces for the President.

I feel incredibly lucky to have personally toured the WH 2 times in my life. One of them I got to pet Obamas dog and saw Michelle leaving to catch a car while being surrounded by an entourage including SS. I didn’t realize it at age 9 back in 08-09, but soon it would be impossible for the average person to see the WH. At the time it was cool to see the WH, but after all the gates and security/ closure to the public I realized just how amazing it was that the average American was allowed to go in there. Shame I’ll never go again and most likely no one in my family after me. It was really cool though, I’ll never forget it.

I love how this doesn’t fit the narrative that we are given about him and people are upset.

It's so amazing that we se him here being able to stand up without falling on the ground when he tries to walk. I am also really impressed that he is able to formulate simple sentencese and talk. He is a great president.

As much as I dislike half of Biden's policy, I genuinely appreciated this tour, and even Biden's excitement for history and powerful past leaders. I can honestly say, I don't dislike him as a person. He seems like cool dude.

Why are Republicans upset by this? Literally, every president decorates the White House for Christmas.

It's the little touches, how proud he is of his roots, his hometown of Scranton, how the city has renamed things for their most accomplished son, the care he's taken in choosing the portraits of American heroes in his office, the homemade chocolate chip cookies for all the cabinet members, and being nice to the AD cameraman 🥰 by the way, it's kind of wild that there's a replica of the Oval Office in Maryland so the President-elect can pick out the furniture they want while the current President continues to use the White House 🤣
