I just got into arduinos, and I was looking in all the wrong places for this information. I would have never imagine the amount of happiness that an LED turning on and off could make me feel. Thanks for this video bro.

Thank you for making this video. I gave up on my GSM 1400 a few months ago and was inspired to try again from your video. I ordered a hologram SIM and, with the help of your video, it's working now. That's so frustrating about the Arduino SIM being the problem but I'm excited to have it working now. Nice work!

It's quite hard for me to get the X000016 for the antenna. Do you have alternative options for this?

I actually looked into this for you! I found the X000016 Antenna on both Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics, and while I did find a couple potential alternatives (which I may try in a future video), they were all more expensive than the original. The data-sheets were also a bit vague with slightly differing specs. I'm also still learning about cellular antennas, so it didn't feel right to recommend something that I wouldn't know would work or not. I hope this makes sense.

I manage to get myself on a X000016. However, now I am having issues connecting it to a vodafone base station for SMS. Do you have recommendation for this?@@KeonsLab

Hi thanks for posting this video. I bought a mkr1500 and gps shield hologram works perfect. I was able to control the led remotely. I have difficulty adding this gps location sketch into the Arduino cloud and be able to get altitude longitude remotely. If u know how to do it plz share your input. Thanks

I was actually trying to figure that out myself too. I’m working on lots of different stuff so I might not be able to right away but I’ll definitely get to it at some point since I’m planning to put this thing on a model rocket with sensors and have it send telemetry back in real-time.
