if you think it`s too much light, you could potentially sacrifice one of the sun visor lights for a gopro mount. I think it was jass performance that did a gopro mount that bolts where the sun visor bolts in. It could be a nice angle, but haven`t tried it yet. I just thought it would be interesting for others to know too.

I did that mod too. I made my own though, removing the visor off the plastic was a pain. I think the leds were 5w each. Its bright

Are you thinking to add some Exterior changes? Like some side skirts or a spoiler? It always make miatas 99% more beauty and adds some horse powers 😂

id like to but im still working on functional upgrades/fixes right now, stuff like fixing my soft top, new exhaust, fixing some weird drivetrains sounds, and brighter headlights. only major exterior change i have planned right now is a proper polish cause the paint has an insane amount of swirls haha

Nice work, I like your creativity with the wiring. Seems a bit overkill brightness for me personally. I think I would do just the middle one and leave the oem smokey cover. I was going to recommend LED headlights too since the car already has projector lenses but I see in another comment you've already got some 😄 How tall are you roughly? So I can estimate if the visors will be a problem for me in the future haha

thanks! yeah its overkill but i weirdly like it, the center light would be plenty enough of an upgrade. im 6 foot, although im a bit more legs than torso which makes a difference when comparing anecdotes about fitment. ive got a picture of myself next to the car if that helps any: instagram.com/p/CzwFpsVurom/?img_index=1

I just replaced every bulb in the car with diode dynamics LED’s. Their headlights are really really good.

Do you have the name of that center LED light? Looks really bright. I hate the stock one, its too dark haha Also i recently found your channel and i love your videos. Keep it up.

thank you! this is the kit, there's the option to buy it with only the center light which is a plug and play install: dandak.net/product/mx-5-nb-interior-light-kit/. mine are the 5000k color temperature ones

haha that's a crazy change, I ended up using a Mitsubishi dome lens for my 99 and it removes that oem smokey effect.

when i drive mine.. i'm not sure but it seems like it's using more fuel than normal. i changed spark plugs & inflated tires to 30 psi.. will keep monitoring. i think a nice video for you to make is MPG that you get, maybe something else is wrong with mine. its a 2000 nb1!

hm, what MPG are you getting? i’m getting about 18-20 MPG with 93 octane and a lot of spirited driving
