What a great fight from 2 warriors that demonstrated various skills! Although I had A. Barboza Jr. on a clear points win, it was not an easy victory, especially as the fight progressed. J. Pedraza started slow and his come-forward, pendulum step did not do him any favors, but as all good boxers do, they switch it up, and went southpaw- this was a game changer! Another good fight to add to the many that warriors of Mexican- and Puerto Rican-descendancy have provided us boxing fans historically, the embrace of mutual respect at the end always a welcomed gesture. 🖖

Lmao. Coz people get bigger as they age? Him and Davis fought at 130 so many years ago. Now they both already were able to fight at 140. You're making it seem like Pedraza is extremely huge compared to Davis. Pedraza was skinny back then and looked the same size as Davis.

Pedraza was drained at 130 by that time. In fact, he even said before the fight he was going to move up immediately after that fight win or lose, so even if he'd won he was going to move up and relinquish his world title. Interestingly he employed the same tactics in this fight as he did against Tank ie. he abandoned his considerable skills in favour of fighting like a caveman

Had to throw flurries. Barbosa did!
