If I had the money, I’d go for the Taycan, but I don’t think anyone really needs the extra ‘Porsche-ness’ (ie. the slight bit of extra power and handling)

Another great and entertaining review. Will never be able to purchase these cars but the entertainment value of watching, and forgive me for saying this but Old Top Gear’esque edited video and a great presenter who draws you in makes easy viewing! Rory keep smashing it pal!

I must say you did a massive comparison that is up2date even today. Solid arguments for both cars described as most of recipients were expecting. You've nailed it down. No one is even close to such a precise content on those two e-cars.

front trunk opening button is at the drivers door back compartment as like you can find the umbrella from a RR and/or Skoda cars..

Love your reviews Rory, you deserve your recognition. I would actually prefer the Tasycan Cross (hope they do a sport turismo). I suspect the Porsche might retain its value better on resale meaning you aren't any worse off overall - just a hunch

@@ymyone After many hours in both, I picked the eTron GT. I liked the styling a little more, handling was very close, same performance, but the cockpit and dashboard I preferred in the Audi. I also didn't like how with Porsche I can't just move an air vent, I have to control it via the touchscreen. Not ideal when driving and you're having to take your eyes off the road. Haven't regretted my choice. Wouldn't go back to ICE now!

I have owned my taycan turbo for 6 months. Having owned ferrari 599, Porsche turbo, amg gts and many others, this car is addictive. It is the best. Your criticism about fake duct: not true. If is an actual duct. Just wash it once. The air con is great. You set it once and forget. The gear lever is a non event and works just fine. Driving it is just v fantastic. Like an S class and 911 merged into one. Best car I've ever owned.

1. The sound is a legal requirement. Outside vs inside and the type of noise selected are the differences. 2. The frunk release is on the door side (read the manual) 3. Ride height can be adjusted on both the cars. 4. Spec to spec porsche is more money.

Even before the days of internet I have been watching Car reviews and seen 100s of guys doing reviews...some are great...some good and some ok, but ever since watching this guy I don't feel like watching any other shows....Rory is the best ..especially his Bentley Flying Spur review was as good as the Flying Spur itself.

Rory this is just an amazing review and you should be proud of it. As a Taycan owner, I love it. Everything is spot on. Love my Taycan but totally agree about the over engineering of some simple interior processes such as changing the direction of the vents.

Great video, absolutely love the GT. Test drove the 'entry level' GT Vorsprung, astonishing car even in non-RS guise. The frunk button is on the drivers door when the door is open. Looks like Audi may need to work on ride height though as you had a bit of the verge travelling along with you at 9:35 ;) Keep up the great work!

Great review just to mention, Uk prices are so different than in EU, i mean basically a fully loaded adui e tron gt rs is about 175000 € but the taycan turbo is 200000 €, so in my country actually the audi is a reasenable choice.

What a superb review. I’ve been in the Porsche. It captured my heart. I’d have it in a lower spec, longer range version though. It doesn’t need to be that fast to enjoy it.

Great analysis👏🏾 It is a tough choice though…Audi is cheaper, is more attractive, has better cockpit functionality yet less storage space and a hum whereas the Taycan delivers premium performance, still looks classical and has more space…I’d love to test drive them both😃👏🏾
