B58 is bulletproofed! Its a very good and stable engine. But also the tuned brakes are awesome. Gonna buy my 440i in next few months, love this car, even though we have here the f30 340i

The orginal b58 codename (B58B30M0) was indeed a bmw orginal mostly use in bmw f serie cars and toyota had nothing to do with that engine b58 that was put into the a90 supra was codename (B58B30M1) which was also use by bmw later g series cars was indeed a technical update to the orginal M0 engine in colaberation with toyota the engine was made after toyota tested the (B58B30M0) engine and found that it was not up to toyota reliability standards and prompting an update need to be made to rule out all potential issue before it was put into to the z4/supra sibling bmw also benefitied from this improvment therefore all g series bmw now use the bmw/toyota updated engine toyota and bmw later develop the (B58B30O1)which furthur improve the power of there b58 engine from 335 to 382hp it was first use by bmw m performance cars and a year later was fitted to the updated a91 supra so the b58 engine was indeed partnerhip engine most of the work was done by bmw ofcourse but toyota did play an important part in continued improvment of this extreamly capable engine its fast proving itself to be one of the best bmw engine ever produce reliable powerful efficient and very capable of making alot more power reliably.​@@Phil_3491

the lap was dsc off though which means any stability system is turned off - including esp and tc

But he said the suspension would be too stiff for the tyres in sport plus. Does the DSC off mean not fully off?

@@sys-administrator yes you can do this. But I’m not so sure which mode the damping will be on by ESP-off: Comfort or Sport ?!

DSC Off for track use. Only with this mode, the electric lsd will be on.

@@rfactorgo39 Well it's interesting from a BMW marketing point of view. The F30 340i was a bit of a sleeper that BMW didn't see fit to label as an M Lite, even though they offered the MPPSK for the pre-OPF models giving it more horsepower/torque and one of the best BMW exhaust notes going.

vredestein tyres are not bad tyres just not track worthy tyres when misha is driving.

I mean Vredesteins arent terrible, theyre certainly better than no name brands but yeah, when you visit a racetrack, you should definitely not cheap out on tyres. There are hardly any more demanding situations than a racetrack for a tyre

i got Vredestein Ultrac Vorti on my car, they arent terrible but you're right if you are gonna track your car buy Michelins etc.

stage 2 plus which means downpipe, HPFP, and tune. Then a trans tune. Its barely over a thousand USD. I have a 340i with similar mods

where im from white interior is frowned upon,people call it poverty spec,if im not wrong it is the cheapest colour.I dont mind it but i wouldnt get it becouse i got that ''white interior=you broke'' mindset drilled into me xD

@@sven4921 really?! Where? Over here it certainly isn’t cheaper the black leather is specced on 90% of them. I much prefer it as it’s so much easier to live with, but the white on the BMWs can look really nice in the right car. Obviously it’d be a different story on a 118d😂

@@havefun1226 just check your charge air temperature (after charge air cooling) by OBD data during your run on NOS 800hp is not needed on NOS, I’d say it’s wasted amount of hp. sth like 500hp is perfect and fully sufficient for track use

@@vollcare4076o i dont use nos i use seperated pi systeem and then about 30% of methanol in my gas tank i got a costum hybride turbo by tth im probs gone get a d088 charge cooler as an upgrade

MX72plus is perfect as a daily and for Nordschleife also mostly fine, but for GP track you will need sth like ME22 etc

Endless has a new compound MX87. It’s the improved one of the MX72. I have them but still needs to fit them weather gets warmer.
