The longer I think about the movie, the more I genuinely love it. Very fun dialogue, the cast was perfect with Robbie and Gosling, just chefs kiss. The Barbieland was fantastic, and the gags of them acting how kids treat their dolls, the car flips and no liquids was so spot on 😂. I'm glad its message was well handled too, so many call it another modern woke movie, like everything coming out recently. And while yes, it shares the themes of female empowerment, it handles them more realistically and shows the downsides of said toxic feminism. Just it embracing the typically feminine pink is something many woke modern movies mock, prefering to just use typical masculine traits and assign them to women with no regard why many men have said traits and why they wouldn't apply to women in certain cases. And it shows good male empowerment too, of self discovery and self love. I'm just Ken is a perfect anthem for positive masculinity. Being a man without being a jackass.
