@@BullsMahunny Id say when the game has reached season 3 with most maps updated with cover and specialist/class system reintroduced this game will be what it should have been at release. Then the backlash wouldnt have been this bad. We are still lacking a robust movement system like in bfv, destruction and content. BF2042 has less destruction then bad company 1. And 4 times less content then bf3 and 4.

I'm hoping after the promised 4 Seasons they continue to support the game. If there's 1 thing I hope they learned from BFV and Battlefront 2 it's that when the reception turns around they shouldn't just throw in the towel.

Game still has horrible optimization on a 12900K core i9, 6800 Mhz DDR5 and RTX 3090. Game engine needs work, ground vehicles feel weightless trash with no gravity and slipping all the time, rockets suck for vehicles and dice is out of touch, Take this dislike dice, hope many of you really lose your position for not speaking up against EA.

Plug was pulled at launch. It's a slow drain because it's clogged with peoples hopes and dreams.

@@Tewo84 They watered down almost everything. Class system is gone, vehicles are OP even more than bf4 vehicles, maps are bad but most importantly the gameplay feels cheap, especially the kills. You can get so many kills within a very short time that it doesn't feel rewarding, this is due to how you can hold m1 with a rifle and kill someone 400 meters away without needing to tap fire. The gunplay is cheapened to the point it's warzone gunplay now, no need to think how you need to engage far away enemies, you spray at 5 meters and you spray at 500 meters as well. Go and look at bf3/4 flanks, there is just no comparison, you'll get killed at 20 kills at most in older games but here you can just glide to flank the enemies and get 50 kills without them noticing.

They have lots of these types of voice lines in the actual game

I could, like you and others, write it as a "great game" bc time has passed and there have been incremental changes, but that's simply not my experience. If I had never played any of the earlier Battlefield games, I may share the same glee that you may have. After nearly a year of release, there has only been one map update and two additional guns (to date) to the lackluster roster of weapons. Again, since time has passed and there has been "movement", some will call it an awesome experience.

They should’ve added a little more weathering to the vault weapons imo to really sell the nostalgic old feeling of them. Still happy to have more weapon variety though.

Every time they fixed issues with a new patch another set of major bugs hit the game. In terms of having fun, yeah 2042 is way better than BF V in the same time frame as BF V launched.

@@KirklandShunk USMC and Russia faction cosmetics are already in the game. EA just won't unlock them for player use. Load up solo/coop and you'll see they have skins for classes that are faction specific already completed.

No the game has only just entered open beta, the game releases sometime in 2025.

This trailer is for the battlepass. That's all, they released a trailer for the season and discussed the future in more detail in a previous video (Class system, etc).

They added the M16, M60 and a new map called Stranded, which is great 👍🏼
