I didn't enjoy it on release mainly because I had it on ps3. I got into it heavily on ps4 and now on pc and I still love it. Although I have many more fond memories with friends on bf3.

Yh I second that reply. Certainly not on console Jack's plays gets me hyped I turn my ps4 on and it's a snooze fest not populated plus shitty looking compared to the crisper shooters out now.

The visuals are still miles upon Call of Duty.

I have only played battlefield on PC and cannot attest to the console visuals, this always looked beautiful to me.

Nicolo Aves People look BF2 through rose tinted classes. That game would never work in todays market. It was fine when gaming didn't have basically any standards, but it's just not a good game by todays standards. Sure it deserves it's own place as a "pioneer" of the series, but the gameplay just doesn't hold up.

I don't, it was an absolute mess lol I mean it was fun but after DICE LA took over, improved the netcode, the bugs and we got free content, then the game got really really great.

@@neumanotavio Exactly it was shit until it got fixed. Everybody seems to forget that part of BF4 when talking about it in retrospect. Pretty much the main reason why I could never get into it back then.
