I'm so glad you mentioned this. I see Liv struggling to keep her (earned) power around Elliot. I think she was so used to say "Detective Benson" whenever she was with him, that this slip unintentional. (story-wise...I'm sure it was scripted.) Liv has grown so much out from under Elliot's shadow, and now I see her struggling to stay true to herself. She is (and should not) let Elliot's energy pulled her down. To me, Liv asserting her power is only making Elliot respect (and hopefully love) her more.

I disagree. I think all the history could potentially make them the greatest match for each other, but they do have to handle it right and address everything unspoken. Its tricky writing but i really respect the writer handling Organized Crime so I'm good. But I would rather them stay single than get together with anyone else, no other characters are on the same level as these two, its mind blowing the way they know each other beyond anyone else. Elliot generally hates lawyers and politics so I dont see him with an ADA. And they've both been with civilians and particularly struggled because that makes them as people difficult to understand.

@@mckayleem3098 You made some extremely good points I hadn't considered. Elliot would drive an ADA nuts in a relationship. I just think it's too soon for an Olivia/Elliott relationship to work. They both have issues to work on and should repair the friendship first. Though I would like to see Elliot date Casey Novak or Alexandra Cabot.

@@axucaroso i can agree that its too soon thus far, theres a lot that needs said but I look forward to seeing them get there. I dont think I could ever see him with Casey or Alex tho. Him and Casey fought like twin siblings and I just don't see any chemistry with him and Alex.

@@UniversalChallenge4454 i mean you could. Im not sure how much attention it would get, I would keep it shorter. I think you have to draw new fans into the character, give them a reason to be invested. A deep dive might take too long to get them there. But that's just a note.
