If they do show a short video on how to install their product, it's done by someone who either has done it so many times they can do it in their sleep or is so edited it looks to good to be true. I love that you can control the age content, block certain apps and videos, and free storage space with apps that haven’t been used in a while. Note: The spindle cap is threaded backwards to keep it from spinning off during use, so remember to turn it the "other way". I also like that the lights, which are quite bright, turn off after a few moments so they do not bother me at night. The remote has to be aimed just right, but does work.

It surprises me that some of the earlier ones, even when using water seem to come out with a better fit or are much easier to mount than the ones using glue of some sorts & UV light. On the glass ones there is a clear, but quite expensive winner. IMO any screen protector sitting in the way of finger detection and fast recognition should be shunned straightaway. Since I intend to buy the S21, not the Ultra the possible damage to the screen by using the Ultra's S-pen does not affect my preference. I did note that after a more slippery screen protector was recently put on the S9 of my wife it tended to slide off the couch way too quickly. Some resistance to sliding (or in your words a rubbery feel) has other merits than just changing the tactile feedback when moving your fingers over a smartphone screen surface! In my experience The finger print reader want work or will give problems with the ones with the liquid adhesive once it gets any damage like a crack or lifted like yours did. Really appreciate you doing this and trying out so many different ones.

I have tried some of the glass screen protectors mentioned in this video and it was just a it is what it is experience. Fingerprint scanner doesn't work that much once applied and just a couple of days after putting them on I removed it. Now what I got on now is the Mowei glass screen protector and it's been a wonderful experience! Fingerprint sensor seems to work better than the name brand glass screen protectors my fingerprints seems to work 90% of the time and it's actually a better overall experience.

Agreed!! 100 percent. I spent the first 2 weeks of owning my s21 ultra just trying to protect it and it was a real pain trying to find anything in stock or a place that was open to install it for me or even a number to call about an appointment and/or inventory without being redirected to headquarters. I tried 3 (2 latex 1 glass) all a 1/5. I kept finding a lot of the glass ones had a weird permanent thumb area that was really ugly and invasive and it didnt even work. I was really frustrated, but then i found the am film glass. 5/5, two thumbs up, exactly what i wanted!

The rubbery screen protectors that leave marks with your S Pen are self healing, the marks go away after a while. I've had one on my note 10+ since I purchased it, and marks still go away. Great video by the way.

All those resisitence you talked about usually go away within few hours of use, they all become very smooth... So don't judge them based on that.. But amazing video, thank you so much.

A thoroughly technical and detailed objective and unbiased review. Excellent. I wonder how users without experience of delicate manipulation would get to achieve such perfect results. But that's a problem for the product manufacturers. One observation follows. You described the last protector as having no resistance as if that was a good thing. Test your best handwriting on paper with a ballpoint pen and then a pencil. I think that you'll find that the one that offers resistance provides the more controlled script. Resistance slows our hand and provides a surface to pull against. That gives us control. The device with zero resistance permits our hand to over run. My preference is resistance to control my hand. But that's why I write with a fountain pen instead of a ball point. Liked and Subscribed. Superb review. Thank you.

Based on this video, I bought the amFilm hybrid screen protector for my S21. Super easy installation with zero bubbles! Fingerprint reader works great. The feel is smooth like glass, whereas other screen protectors (like Armorsuit) have a plastic, matte feel to them. Definitely recommend.

Amazing video. Suggestion for the tempered glass screen protector. I have the LK tempered glass and it works flawlessly. Don't use all of the liquid as the companies put too much in there. My finger print sensor works all the time with it. And also leave the weight on it and cure it longer and then remove it and cure it again and redo your fingerprints it will work.

It's unbelievable that it is extremely difficult to get those old school tempered glass protectors that have adhesive (silicone) over the entire surface and not just the edges. I know many people can't install them properly but I don't have cleanroom or anything and I don't suffer from cleaning madness. Still I'm able to install them on a 10" tablet (for those they're easy to find odly enough) with only minor not really noticeable dust specs and NO bubbles. However those all adhesive glass protectors have far supperior optics making those with air look dull. I had a really tough time finding one for my Mate 20 Pro so when I finally found one I bought a couple to stock up on! I friend had the edge glued on his new phone around the same time as mine and we compared - he thought it was good but in comparison his was clearly inferior and much more glare.

I just wanna say how much I appreciate all the work you put into these types of videos. My dad just upgraded his Note 4 to an S21 Ultra so it's his first experience with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. I upgraded my Note 9 to a Fold 3 so I also had no experience with it other than my Tab S6 and Tab S7+ but those both don't have curved screens to worry about and my only experience is using a Whitestone on my Note 9 which I loved. My dad bought a case with a preinstalled screen protector and it turns out it isn't compatible at all with the fingerprint sensor and we were both at a loss as to which screen protector would be the best. I knew the film type would probably be his best shot but he and I both don't like the rubbery stickiness of those types so we wondered which glass one would be the best. We decided that we wanted a liquid adhesive type and was conflicted between Whitestone and amFilm as those two were the most recommended on reddit but I still read reviews on the fingerprint sensor not working on both products. Personally while I'm a diehard Whitestone fan the installation rig looks a little too complicated for me and my dad with their wind up toy gimmick so we're going to go with amFilm. My only wish is that amFilm added stickers to cover the buttons like Whitestone but I guess not everyone can be perfect. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, this is why I do these videos for my viewers. I know how frustrating it can be to try to weed through the sea of sub par screen protectors. I like you I’m also a big fan of white stone and have use them on pretty much all of my past galaxy devices. A.m. film does do a pretty good job and I also wish that they did come with the protection that the Whitestone Dome offers while doing the installation. If you’re worried about drop protection and fingerprint sensor compatibility the liquid adhesive is definitely the way to go. I hope your dad enjoys his screen protector and again thank you so much for your support I really appreciate it.

@@HighTechCheck I just installed the Amfilm screen protector today for my dad and he's really happy with the results! I used a heat gun to pop out the plastic screen protector that came with his case so now he can use his phone the way he intended. Plus the screen is way clearer and more responsive than with the plastic one he was smiling a lot after I was done. ☺

The orange peel effect on the film protectors turn me off to them. Rubbery feel as well. Great video. Just bought the spigen crystal uv screen protector for the s21 ultra. It's pretty awesome and case compatible. Fingerprint works awesome and the s pen works as well

The issue with AMFilm is cracks or bubbles at the corners and starts chipping. Is it user fault? Dunno. But I heard reviews had same issue.

I'm on month 5 for protector #15 of this video. I did have a hell of a time peeling the film of of the protector it was stuck on so well its pull tab ripped. Its time to replace it now. Its done a good job and it was a clean removal. I didn't have any of the issues this guy had

Just installed the asbellt tampered glass protector. Was smoother than in your video and i had less spillage. But I advise everyonr whos looking to buy this to have some isopropanol, spiritus or nail polish to clean your phone properly. My fingerprint sensor also works

NEVER USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER!......... You ever get that on plastic? It destroys it. At work tons of stuff gets ruined with it, in the factory I work in. But on a side note, this is the one I think I'll get. How are the fingerprints? Is the oleophobic coating really good and prevent fingerprints like the original glass, or are fingerprints many times worse, like the last one I had.

@@MrTheta.. okay didn't know that with the nail polisher. Yeah fingerprint sensor works perfectly fine and fingerprints aren't much visible. Also the screen protector isnt much reflective, which is nice

I would definitely recommend making individual 5-10 minute videos for each protector. Or maybe group them in 3-5 per video... Then do a summarizing video where you give the top three with all factors considered.

If you want the best protection I’d go with the Whitestone Dome or the am film tempered glass protector. I’ve been using the Whitestone and it’s been good so far.

I had higher hopes for the glass screen protectors. My first issue was the fingerprint area. Can't stand that blotch on the screen. Next was an occasional delay on the touchscreen even with the sensitivity set to high. The rear camera screen protectors seemed to work well until I went outside on a sunny day and immediately noticed what horrible glare occured on some pictures. That problem was nonexistent when there wasn't a rear camera cover. Very disappointing considering what great pictures this phone takes.

Just contributing based on my own experience I'm notorious at failing to apply traditional screen protectors I usually just go to a franchise and toss a worker a 10 spot to do it for me.. that said I had a gorilla glass one laying around decided to try to apply it on my own on a Galaxy S20 FE and for the first time completely forgot about the alcohol wipe and I finally did it likely just bc I never waited for the alcohol to dry in the past but wanted to share anyway thanks for sharing I'm deciding what would be best on the S21 Ultra with the Otterbox Defender Pro (I believe that's the name) the one with the horizontal grips on the backside . oh and I may have forgotten the alcohol but I cleaned the screen with the soft sunglasses pouch I always use beforehand . one final thought I have a hunch the alcohol may slightly compromise the water resistance on the original screen since water does over time .. just my thoughts not ridiculing you in any way just sharing what I was thinking thanks again 👍

Anyone recommend a glass one that works well for you with the otterbox defender series ? wow ! very nice video and thx for the time stamps !!! i like 15 and 19 but are any of those good with the otter box defender series ??? i got a uniqueme film and its trash !! it lifts from the bottom with my case added , otherwise its a good film but i like to have it more protected with a tempered glass without sacrificing the touch sensitivity ....

Thank you for this video. It once again convinced me that curved screens are the worst for installing screen protectors. Every curved screen phone should come with a good quality screen protector pre-installed.

I got the Tocol for my 21s and it was easier to install than how yours was. They give you a tray to put your phone in to guide the screen. And mine is glass and def feels like glass.

I bought #16 and had a horrible experience with it but the customer service was spot on great but to make a long story short they ended up refunding me my money. I'm currently using a screen protector but was looking for a tempered glass screen protector and it seems you have done the work for me and I just ordered #19. What's crazy is that was my first option until I changed it at the last minute. I'll update you on it as soon as I receive and install it. Thanks man.

I used uniqueme screen protector for my s21 ultra and very easy to setup.. 4 protector included kits for just 7.99 on amazon.. Good price.

The whitestone dome tempered glass screenprotector is the best. It works with adhesive and uv Light. It is a little expensive but the instalation is way better then all these i have seen in the video and mutch cleaner, no cleaning after.

dam you for your recommendation. bought it with regrets. fingerprint sensor was crap and it cracked when it dropped from a chair.

@@Vaunt22 oke i never had any problems with it. But if it did crack it did his work because if you didnt had the screenprotector it was your screen that was cracked. Screen is a lot more expensive.

I'm currently or should I say just receive my Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass protector and so far I'm liking it as I had no form of issue with the finger print on my S21 Ultra so far am liking the result first time using such product for screen protection normally I grab a case with a screen protector so decided to such else well or look for far more better protection

Great video. I'm having problems with any screen protectors staying on the sides were it curves. I've tried 4 kinds. Getting epeienvise. 😂 I tried the real flexible kinds and even they come up after a week or so. And I drooped phone with a otterbox and it shattered screen. My old s20 reg. Was a tank never cracked dropped it from motorcycle once and good wreacked motorcycle and still good. I think the curve screen is the problem but I wanted the big screen and features of the ultra. And I always by renewed so I'm always 2 or 3 years behind. Any ideas from any1. I just got a s22 ultra and I've bought a clear otter box and now I need a screen saver. Please help people😂 thanks

I have a Samsung Galaxy A-10 ,I put a 128 GB Sansdisk SD Card in it and got it running so smooth I decided to keep it for now.I bought a screen protector from Wallmart and it has a thin layer of adhesive,as long as you clean your phone with the anti static cloth provided you can get it on to stay.I have had multiple traumatic things happen to this phone an there isn't a scratch on it.This screen protector is like Guerilla Glass,you can't scratch it unless you take a power drill to.it.
