Came here because I’ve been addicted to Jordan’s twitch channel recently. I read the books when they were released and I’ve always been Team John so I can’t believe they didn’t give John justice. People should have been torn at the end of the movie like it was in the book. But now, people who watched the movie and didn’t read the book instantly pick Peter. There was a whole war before between Team John and Team Peter. Where is it now?

Man....... John Ambrose it's so perfect, he deserved better. In fact, I believe that both Peter and John deserved better. Lara Jean is one of my fav characters ever but she had all the chances to tell John Ambrose about Peter and she didnt - she saw him as a second option, and thats even worse than lying trying not to hurt him. She hurt Peter, herself and John Ambrose and it's completely reasonable to be confused - we, teenagers, are confused as hell - but you can, at least, be honest :/

I think Jordan did a good job, but prefer John Ambrose from the book...only because I didn't expect to struggle on who Lara Jean should be with. He seemed more like a friend in the movie. I am a hardcore Peter fan, but unexpectedly was rooting for John while still wanting her to be with Peter; the movie didn't give me that turmoil I felt reading the book.
