Audience member sheepishly reveals "A Volkswagen Jetta," prompting belly laughs all round. Season 6 - Jeremy asks the audience "What's the ugliest car ever made?" Someone shouts "Mazda MX5" Offended, Jeremy stands up and says "You stupid man!"

(A running joke in the episode was that Clarkson's Aston was brown)

Well this confirms what I'd always suspected. Australian TV edited out parts of many episodes to make room for advertisements. Because I watched every episode on TV and about 70% of these clips I have never seen before.

My parents used to drive a Peugeot 406, they loved it so much that they bought it twice! They bought their first one in 2000, some months before my brother was born, my mum crashed that in 2010 though and has been sitting in our garage ever since. They bought the second one in 2014 or so and then my dad crashed it after he hit a kangaroo with it a few years ago. That too is also sitting in our garage.
