I’ve only heard the first encounter so far, but dang! It is so meaningful to hear from Christopher, who has been a woodsman and hunter his whole life, all over the country, and has personally encountered and heard every wild animal out there. That he heard something terrifying that scared him, and that he couldn’t identify, makes his encounter significant. Add the trees falling and rocks landing all around him, and this becomes an aggressive pursuit to chase him right out of the woods! Yikes! I am glad he clarified a few things: there were more than one, the vocals varied, caves were nearby, and he understood the message to get out of their territory; all very helpful to us who are learning and gathering information about Sasquatch. He is right, that is exactly why most don’t pull their phone out to record the moment! The desire to go back and look around is normal for the curious, but I wouldn’t go alone. I had a similar encounter near Cave Run Lake south of Morehead KY in the Daniel Boone Forest. It was a full moon night in Jan was very cold i was kayak camping. Never saw the noise maker but i will never go back without a large caliber handgun/ect just in case. They are there.

He is still fighting with what happened to him. I imagine it takes quite awhile to work through bigfoot experiences. He said this was it as far as talking about it, but after listening to so many people, i dont think hes done working thru it. I enjoyed his story.

If anyone has ever been in the Daniel Boone National Forest would totally believe Christopher's story. There are many people who live in that forest. Anyone who is born and raised in KY or recently moved to the state know that some people have gone into the Daniel Boone National Forest for whatever reason and sometimes do not return. I was told before traveling through the National Forest to make certain that my tires were in excellent condition, had a full tank of gas, and oil as you don't want to get caught by the roadside. It can be a very scary place as I have driven through the area many times. I know where Burnside is located in KY.

While I enjoy every episode, this one really hit home. I live in southern West Virginia, and have heard about this very Burnside monster. I always thought my husband was pulling my leg, guess not.

I used to live near this man. It's not far from Somerset Kentucky ( I think ) I lived in Waynesburg KY & then Eubank KY. That's a pretty flat area compared to where I grew up in Harlan County Kentucky. I'd never heard Bigfoot or anything until I moved to southwest Virginia. My friend used to tell me about his encounters from when he was a teenager but I would laugh at him. Then one night in late September we were riding his motorcycle on a back road and I thought a deer was running a long side of us up on a ridge. Then I seen something jump off the cliff and fall down into the ditch , Which really got my attention because deers don't move like that, A deer would have came off that steep hill by jumping from the side of the hill onto the road but this thing jumped straight down into the wet muddy ditch and i heard the splat, even over the engine. Then HE took two steps that looked like he was floating and has crossed the road right in front of us and stopped at the edge of the blacktop on our left. Right at that second his right foot slid off the edge of the blacktop and his top half fell backwards as he lost his balance but he caught himself and didn't fall, He then turned his top half completely towards us and looked at us, but hips and legs were still facing the creek, which looked a bit weird. He then turned back facing the creek and Jumped, which destroyed the faint ideal of him being a 8 foot tall human in a suit because no human could jump that creek and then drop alone would break a man's legs. I'm not very good at judging distance but I'm guessing it's a 3 story drop & 3 or 4 stories wide. Most ppl would think that seeing him would have been my biggest shock, but it wasn't,, The biggest shock was seeing him not even have the least bit of hesitation about Jumping that creek.. I guess because I knew that creek well and knew a human is gonna be hurt bad, Then seeing him clear that jump,,, yea that's when I did something I've never done before in my whole life,, id never ever before ever been scared so bad that id piss myself but yea, A grown a** woman. A woman who thought I'd seen it all, lol. Nope!! So I didn't learn Bigfoot was real until I was over 40.. Then I was offered a house for free. So in 2014 we moved into a house on top a mountain all by itself. Which tickled us to death after living in a community where houses sit two feet apart. So yes a 3 bedroom with all kinds of privacy and we learned that this house was about a mile from where I'd seen my first Bigfoot the year before.. Guess what the locals call this mountain?? Yeap ! Bigfoot mountain. And idk if these Bigfoots has anything to do with why the owners moved off leaving this nice home but we definitely moved in on a family of at least 4 Bigfoots. So from 2014 ~to 2022 I've seen and heard them to many times to count..Things ended up getting to crazy so I moved home to southeast Kentucky but Southwest Virginia is infested with them. THEY NOW OFFER TENT CAMPING SITES PER WEEKEND OR PER WEEK AT THESE SIGHTING AREAS. & Offer some four wheeling trails.. I think their trails also connect to the four wheeler trails in Harlan Kentucky. Anybody wanting to camp over there in southwest Virginia where I seen my Bigfoots ( 2013 & 2015, 2017,2019, 2021 & 2022[[~~~~~~~~ANYBODY WANNA TENT CAMP DEEP IN THE WOODS WHERE BIGFOOT HAS BEEN SEEN HOLLER AT ME ILL SEND YOU THEIR INFO .. THESE TWO MOUNTAINS ARE PRIVATLY OWNED .. KENTUCKY HAS ONE OF the ONLY 2 OPENINGS TO THE LARGEST CAVE IN THE USA.. Or so my friend just said. Idk]] BUT DON'T LAUGH AT YOUR FRIEND IF HE TELLS YOU HE SEEN A BIGFOOT GUYS, Don't do like I did.. because I was so wrong.. Bigfoot is real.. ps the first one I seen wasn't black,, he was dark blonde

I love Christopher's personality! He seems to be a no bs guy, kind of like Steve Isdahl at How to Hunt. Love them both! I appreciate you, Miguel, for showing us every week how to properly interview someone. You let them speak. Your questions come later. I try to be more like you each day, especially at work. I was born very hyper, and my enthusiasm can sometimes come across as a rude woman interrupting others as they speak. I just get so excited talking to others. But lately, I have been learning to relax and listen to what others have to say. As I near 48 years of age, I finally understand it does not really matter if I get my two cents into the conversation. It's all about learning from other people and their experiences. I already know my experiences in life well, and it is not the end of the world if i do not get to share them with everyone. Hey Christopher, my late father was born and raised in Rockholds ,Ky. in Whitley County. He used to tell us stories about the "wood boogers"that were seen by him and my pappaw when they would go out hunting in the nearby mountains. What you said is almost exactly what he told me happened to him when he was a young teenager back in the late 1930's and early 1940"s. I genuinely believe you brother just as i believed my father. I remember going to Cumberland Falls when i was a kid way back in the 1960"s. And hearing similar stories from the park ranger about Daniel Boone shooting at one these creatures way back in KY History.

It’s nice to hear other lifetime hunters rattled. I’ve been there a few times myself with absolutely no explanation as to what I’ve heard and seen. I quit hunting from 39 years old till 42 then I just figured if it wanted to it could’ve easily killed me so I just got back into it while thinking and saying out loud please let me hunt. I still hear tree breaks very regular but no sighting and the creeps have mostly gone away after another decade past what I actually saw

My husband and I are 51 and he gets those feelings and he has been hurting since he has been old enough to take his hunter’s safety class. He got us a big old doe yesterday but he has had those feelings and since his experience and when he came home his whole face including his lips were solid white and now he knows when to leave an area so this man has been very lucky up until now. I hope he also sends his GPS location to his loved ones from now on because my husband always sends his to me just in case something happens. Stay safe out there everyone. Thank you sir for sharing your experience, we have eagles, owls, loons deer, wolves coyotes and even moose here in Michigan but those things are on another level. It’s traumatizing.

I know of some timber workers who left their jobs after seeing a Sasquatch in their work area. I cannot remember the details. But, they were tough logger types and were scared enough to say they would never go back into the forest ever again. Cougars and bears were nothing like the angry Sasquatch.

The worst part of listening to many encounters is to hear graphic details of killing. I'm a vegan and feel sad for animals that are killed while trying to live their lives. However, that being said, many many encounters are from hunters and I'm a Sasquatch believer and follower of several podcasts. So listening to kill stories comes along with the territory. I will say that Christopher is totally believable. Humans are fortunate in that Sasquatch don't view us as a food source. If that were the case Christopher wouldn't be here to tell his story. I also believe that Sasquatch are intelligent enough to know humans are somehow related to them and therefore not something they would eat. I do think there are probably cases in which Sasquatch have or will kill humans because they see us as direct threat to their survival. Sasquatch probably have personalities similar to humans. If so, there may be those that are prone to extreme anger and violent behavior. Those Sasquatch will probably kill humans if they enter their area. I believe some of the reports of missing people in the wilderness are attributed to Sasquatch. Humans are not the alpha predator in the woods, even with weapons. Not if Sasquatch are in the area. I would add that the paralyzing fear that a hunter feels when realizing they are being stalked by Sasquatch is probably the same fear a deer feels while being stalked by a human. Just saying...

My encounter happened near the Tater Knobb firetower in the DBNF. That area now has been closed under penalty of law since 2015.

After this interview. Christopher shot another deer. Went to get the next day and it had been destroyed like nothing he had ever seen.

U should tell them out loud that u r there and u meet them no harm. U just need to feed your family and get ONE deer. I feel they understand what we say and if we r good or bad. Then always leave the guts etc as a gift to them!! Always leave them a gift.

Growing up, we always heard it called the Keno Bridge Monster. The Keno Bridge is a bridge over the railroad on Garland Road between the City of Burnside and the Daniel Boone Forest. Its about 80-100 feet tall. Takes a rock 3 second to fall to the reailroad tracks. There are 1,000's of acres of the DBNF to the south.

Very conpeling encounter! These beings are real and most likely nomadic depending on the seasons. The discovery of a cave system in the area is another conpeling puzzle piece. What a frightening encounter!!! I'm glad you are ok and still hunting!

100% this man definitely had encounters. They are absolutely real.

Have a farm in Burnside, and yes there are creatures in these woods. My cousin seen a red eyed creature in the treetops. What most people don't realize, is that our government has been releasing animals/ creatures in the woods on Kentucky and Tennessee for decades. Always be well armed when you go into the woods. Too much land and to many places to hide and plenty of food.

I like Christopher, and about 1/2 through the video. When he he said someone in a monkey/ape suit that would be a really dumb thing for anyone to do. I believe Christopher, and it's good to hear his experiences didnt stop him from going in the woods. Thanks Miguel, and Christopher!

Miguel, yet another fascinating guest. Many thanks to Christopher, regarding having the courage to speak out about his recent encounters. Regarding his experience, becoming disoriented whilst hunting in the Daniel Boone Forest, just to throw this out there, that other seasoned hunters have encountered a similar phenomena, where the area they are in, suddenly becomes devoid of sound, before an encounter. Talk of portals, are being spoken of more readily, which could explain why he had become lost, and the fact that his deer was found two miles from the initial hit site…. Just a thought.. Also, I would recommend that any Hunter, should carry a tracking device with them, just to be safe, when hunting in remote areas, as there are too many cases of missing 911 cases. Again, a great guest interview :-)
