@@marcalvarez4890 she even wrote 2 songs against that world.. “Not my responsibility” it’s more a letter “ OverHeated” .. in the end of this she is talking about “plastic body” .. bc paparazzi, media and people they were bullied criticizing her body when by chance the paparazzi caught her outside the house and she was barely dressed in baggy clothes and showed her body more when she was a teenager and it was the world lashed out at her when she had an absolutely normal body for her age … she overcame depression when she was only 15-19 .. and then so much hate for winning Grammys in 2020 too young for that pressure and hate and having so successful career and yet look at her … I always admired her maturity, when she was 15-18 her interviews they were already very interesting .. at 30 I learned a lot from her .. she has a way of thinking and speaking that opens your mind… she is really amazing not only as artist, but also as person and woman. I'm so happy to see her this way so full of joy & light-heartedness and can I say, cute! I feel like we'll physically see Billie evolve as she does mentally/emotionally. That's beautiful bc she goes about it unapologetically, she confronts & admits it. So many artists, musicians, actors try to apologize for who they were, almost deny it. They were who they were in that time & that's nothing to apologize for or deny. We've seen Billie grow from a 15yr old child to who she is today. I love that. It's refreshing.

“I was actually two kids stacked together trying to get into an R-rated movie” is a great way of saying I WAS A CHILD AND YOU ALL DECIDED TO SEXUALIZE ME. So happy to see her on SNL, I don’t go out of my way to listen to her music but she seems like a genuinely great person who deserves the success she has. And she was hilarious!

Mr. Jost is such a multi-national deconstructed character. I mean this how I picture him as a group of cheerleaders r something, sitting around talking about the hot boys, and suddenly a tangible awkwardness settles over the group. All are attentive to a possible knowledge[ that no ones gaze has lifted upon Ch.Sto. leg] is looking at the same idea, then one of them walks across the room to the food table. There's already a tarantula looking spider ornament on the tree. Hey Chris, I was thinking that reducing the letter X to a word, starting with the letter O, could mak use of the letter Z? Mids Science shoots organic garlic yet Kate prob has the Niart numb's skitx

It took me a while to really appreciate Billie's music. I'm outside of her core demographic, as a soon to be 45 year old male Gen X-er, but the more I learn about Billie and her brother Finneas and their creative process, it's given me a lot of respect for the hard work they put in to make their art. It's astonishing to me just how much control over her own image she's had since the beginning. All the stuff Billie does in her music videos is her idea, and she for sure knows what she wants.

Hello Terry but music is not like that these days :-/ Billie, unfortunately, is a literal industry plant- unlike any we’ve ever seen. If you do even a little bit of research on who she is or who her family is, you will quickly (and unfortunately) come to the conclusion that many modern day artists were predestined for fame and “talent”. And by talent, I mean collaboration with the right individuals who are already successful, and by fame, I mean handouts and pressures from her family. These are not the days of Simon & Garfunkel. Those who are truly talented get lost in the weeds of Disney child celebrities and daughters of famous music industry managers. Unfortunately, Terry, music is not what it used to be :(

@@matthewhopkins5701 I’d disagree. She definitely had certain privileges but her success came organically after Ocean Eyes was a viral hit and her first EP was met with such good reception. I’m only 18 of course so I don’t know the old days you are referring to, but I love Simon and Garfunkel and Billie. I think we should be able to enjoy music from every era. Billie is very talented bottom line and deserves her success. Is there other people out there just as deserving not receiving the same attention? Absolutely. But that’s not her fault.
@visionik
@visionik 2 роки тому
@@matthewhopkins5701 Ha. FYI Paul Simon's father was a band leader and Art Garfunkels father was an actor. Sounds like music is exactly what it used to be. Having a generational boost helps, but you still have to be exceptionally talented to make it in the world of music. And art. And business. But hey, those who fail will always find a way to blame it on others.
