I agree. She's crazy, but part of that I think is just because the writers are too wishy washy with who they want Peter to be with. Sometimes they want MJ to be his one and only, sometimes they want the dangerous ex-villainess viligante partner to tease the readers. Honestly, the writers could put the two together if they wrote her to be less toxic. 'Cause without that toxicity, they'd pretty much be made for eachother.And I'm talking about stuff other than the fact that they have chemistry, fun together, and a venerable treasury of snappy quips. Spiderman and Black Cat are both vigilantes. She's apart of a world MJ could never be in. If they made their relationship less toxic, BC would have more grounds to be sympathetic to Spiderman's origin story, as she herself knows how a sudden trauma can lead to the world of vigilante justice.
