Don't you dare think this boar thing is "arbitrary"! I live in Canada, in a fairly big city (probably half a million people or so in the area) and it's currently -15 degrees celsius out where I live (or like 5 degrees fahrenheit) and tonight, literally just 15 minutes ago (it's currently 4:40am - my sleep schedule is fucked lol) I was outside smoking a joint when I saw what I thought was a stray dog across the street. I walked towards it in case it needed help and it took off fast - when it went through the light, imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a goddamn wild boar running down my street! Cody tried to warn us - I thought I was safe up here in Canada. I was not.

As someone who grew up in a European forest area: These episodes are really funny, but make no mistake, boars are by far the most dangerous animals in our woods. You better start climbing that tree if you encounter one, especially if it is a mother with those cute looking babies.

Holly hell YES. I'm Polish, when I was a toddler on a road trip with my mom, we saw a lot of cars parked on both sides of the forest road, so we stopped to check what's up. Well, what was up was a group of boar babies that people were watching, filming and even posing to pictures with. When my mim realized what's up, she basically dragged me back to the car, locked it and said, we can't be any closer than the other side of the road, otherwise we'll ge fucked when mama boar comes back. And sure enough, she came back and people were running for their lives, chased by a wild tusk-bearing stab machine. Nobody got hurt as far as I remember, but damn was it scary. Here in Europe, you learn early to fear the boar - or you don't get to grow old.

As a lifetime resident of Hawaii, I can confirm that we were early to fall to the boar-pocalypse. Although some of our island chain have not completely succumbed I fear it's really only a matter of time before we are all firmly under their hooves. Obviously the the last book in the series was originally going to reveal how one of the side effects of boars being exposed to nuclear radiation caused a mutation that made it so yeerks could live in them without having to return to their pools, and thus all of the boars today are being controlled by yeerks. Also, I'm hoping this can help serve as a demonstration for the conspiracy-theory prone, that random, unrelated things can coincidentally share inconsequential details in common - that coincidence does not equal conspiracy. Being a vegetarian my whole life I’ve acted as if this issue hasn’t affected me. I’ve been pretending to give both boars and orcas the benefit of the doubt, you know, no skin in the game and all. I have a theory that the retirement and death of Art Bell (former host of Coast to Coast AM, broadcasting legend) left us with a vacuum eventually to be filled by Alex Jones and his ilk, essentially magapilling the "I want to believe" crowd en masse and supercharging that massive jumping off Qanon had Also I believe the solution may be to try and get back some of what we lost in the 9/11 period, when x files was cancelled and Coast to Coast slipped down an elevator shaft into irrelevance. Bring back C2C AM... hosted by either one of two men who'd be able to get us back some of what we have lost. One is David Duchovny. The other is Kyle MacLachlan. It is 2023 and someone took our fun space alien nonsense away to make it hate Jews or something, and only two of the FBI's weirdest leading men can save us. Unless Duchov goes Agent Denise on us this week... whatever, it's all good. Damn good radio. And hot.
