You’re so thorough that I think I lost track of how many different levels of waterproofing were used 😂. I’m honestly so impressed how you maintained the patience to do every little thing the professional way. Your shots always look steady too which means you must’ve also taken the time to frame up and plan out every single shot for every single action, which is mind blowing. I don’t think many realize how much effort that takes just by itself, especially for a large-scale project like this with tons of angles and transitions. Your channel is seriously top-notch and deserves every bit of recognition - can’t wait for even more sponsors to catch on and provide you with stuff for more big projects!

All that waterproofing and yet the door doesn’t have a threshold so the instant it rains there will be a puddle inside the shed getting everything on the floor wet, the bottom wall plates, etc. that door needs to be replaced with an actual outdoor rated door.

Holy crap. I built a tiny 2'x2'x3' box to house a pond pump that I want to keep dry from the elements. I know nothing but decided to wing it and keep things cheap. Mission accomplished on the cheap. But it got me watching videos like this. This is epic. I can't imagine the patience, time, measuring, cost, etc. Bravo. So much knowledge in this video. My next little garden box will be better. The degree of weatherproofing throughout this entire project is incredible, and as someone who lives in a very wet environment, it is essential. So many other shed videos don't take weatherproofing seriously, some omit it almost all together. Preventing moisture not only gets rid of wood rot, but termites won't touch dry wood, for the most part. Very smart. This one should last for decades. Well done.

I want to thank you for this video series. I had wanted a shed/workshop for some time. All of the prefabs I had looked at were quite expensive regardless of the level of craftmanship. So I decided I was going to build it myself. Having never built a structure before I needed to do a lot of research. But after watching countless videos my head was full of competing styles of building and I felt a little overwhelmed. Then I found your series and immediately knew I could do this. I built an on slab 12x24 single slope with a 10 foot front wall and an 8 foot 7 inch back wall using your video series as a guide and I am very pleased with the result. Thank you so much for your videos. The thoroughness is extremely impressive and gave me the confidence to proceed. I know I have a building that is built correctly and will outlast me. I built it for about half the cost of an inferior prefab. Also I wanted to mention that the palm nailer I purchased as a result of watching your series is one of the handiest tools I've ever bought!

Your approach makes me feel that I could tackle this over a period of time with some engineered plans meeting code. Perhaps I could do it by modules (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, family room, etc.). I would love to become mortgage free, for when I am old and gray, and and know it will never happen if I don't build our house slowly but surely.
