We've parked our bus here at the Wolf Rigs headquarters in Denver while Mike gets helps design and build the ultimate overland vehicle! We've been reminded us of the struggles of the early planning stages of our bus build ~ trying to design all the systems and find the proper components to make everything work right together is no easy task, even for the experienced builder! Let us know what you think so far in the comments below!

About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!

Finally get to see my bus in action on video! I hear it’s next in line. Glad it’s getting used to keep it going. Thanks Reed for taking care of it for me.

I love watching how invigorated MikeGivver became when he was imparting info on the water heater and conspiring on the fly; it was like Mike visited the page in his 2017 ninja builder mode. It wss wonderful to see his former persona rear up and attack fresh issues!!!

Mike would be great at converting a school bus in an RV. One thing I would love to see is someone converting an electric school bus into an RV.

Woowwwwww. This is perfect timing, I start my second build on Monday! Just picked up a step-van and planned on re-watching all your videos during the process to make it even better than my first. This thing is amazing! Can't wait to steal even more ideas 😂❤️

Hi Mike, Hi Kerry, Wolf Rigs know how difficult building this vehicle is and thats why the have got Mike now to show them the way and by watching Mike and his suggestions for the water heater they can already see what an asset Mike is going to be. If it aint right Mike wont put it in there, its going to look really good and look forward to seeing it come together.. Its good to see you both again and looking well, take care, love you both..K.

👍🏻😁❤️ I was glad to hear about the water heater, bought your same one …. On your advice. 👍🏻 update info …. 30psi pressure regulator and tank volume float GOOD TO KNOW 👍🏻😁. And am actually thankful to Reed for making me feel not so bad about my system decision conundrum’s….. I’m not the only one who buys shit and then decides …… maybe not ! So far not too bad $$, trying to avoid it getting worse. As you do this build I truly appreciate the system pro/con discussions.

I know Mike said he would miss his old job and I'm sure he does a little but you can easily tell this is his happy place. It's very obvious he thrives with challenges like this & overcoming it while helping others or yourselves. You guys should make a sticker of something like that or him surrounded by his tools & it could say "my happy place" or something 🤣

Cool rig!Do you feel the solar will be adequate to supply the AC?I have seen a few rigs lately that double their solar by having slide out panels thereby doubling or tripling their solar.As a bonus it also provides somewhat of a shade and rain shelter.Juat a thought.BTW save a little and buy your panels at Santan(no affiliation)as they seem like reasonable prices to fill up the roof.Have fun in that build.

They're selling water heaters as "on demand" but they are small, under counter types that can be installed in each area, bathroom etc. I bought one but can't return it. Scratch-n-dent.
@fo4imtippin
@fo4imtippin 2 роки тому
stay off propane for these rigs. single source fuel.. use a diesel coolant heater 5kw is plenty. then use a 6gallon marine water heater that uses the coolant and has a 1500watt element. can also use engine for heat..
