The 1936 issue of Popular Mechanics Magazine featured a two-part article about a small four-stroke engine constructed from castings. I crafted the patterns out of wood and cast them in aluminum and brass to assemble the engine. It operates quite efficiently on regular gasoline. I also incorporated a PM Research "dynamo" to generate power for a small light.
