This guy in the video drove 1 hour to my gym just to fight with me..
He said he have been In and out of prison he have anger issues and was looking for somewhere to train. But first he wanted to get in the ring with me..
He said he’s been in many street fights. Also many fights while being locked up.
I had no intention to even spar
Because I was on crutches and freshly out of hip surgery.
After I showed him my crutches he went on to call me a kitty cat and said are you backing out.
He is a bully that needed to Be humbled.

Those body shots are a wake up call to any overconfident yahoo. I had a coach in the past who would, if a person started bullying people in the gym, spar with them and go heavy to the body while explaining how it is important to be humble. Loved that dude, he was a Lumpinee MT champ back in his prime, and like most Thai fighters he was always just so respectful and professional, goes to show you dont have to be a douche to other people to succeed.
@robot_spider
@robot_spider 29 днів тому
That's what got me. I've never boxed, but you could feel those body shots, even more than the head shots. Most people with no fight experience will fall down when punched in the head. But we all watch boxing and take those body shots for granted. You don't realize how punishing those are when you're just trying to suck enough wind to stay conscious. Hearing this guy grunting after he gets hit tells me his diaphragm is spasming like a mother f'er.

I am not sure, who is the bully here. If You are the coach, thats it. You make decision whether to accept to train the person or not. After that, You do not push your personal life-philosophy to Your students. This is not fair, that as professional coach, You actually do not accept the person and nevertheless start to co-operate and during this You attack Your student with all Your physical and mental strength. Fair thing would be, that coach should say at the beginning, that this is not acceptable and the deal is off until no criterias of club and coach are obeyed. Thats it. No professional behavior by coach, in my oppinion.

The guy that used to train me, an Italian man, used to always stress about how footwork and calculating your inches breeds shielding-defense and if you have poor footwork, you have no defense, and you deserve to get your ass knocked out. My mixed martial arts instructor (before MMA was a thing), sat us new students down on the mat one evening and told us that if anyone came to the door of the dojo demanding to fight a black belt we were to welcome them in, immediately alert the staff, and then line up in a certain pattern on the mat and shut up. Complete silence and obedience or you get kicked out. I knew then that my instructor was serious business. I later learned he was an instructor in unarmed combat and edge weapon defense to pretty much all of the area law enforcement and a decorated correctional officer. Apparently these knuckleheads do exist.

That's gold!!!! Well done coach! Showing a fool he's never too old to learn some of life's most valuable lessons. To the guy in blue, before you start trying to be the big man, learn how how to fight. You couldn't punch your way through wet tissue paper. You made me laugh, so thanks.

Bro, take the gloves off, concede defeat, apologize like a man, and sign up for a class or two. You're beaten. Sitting there in that ring taking a beaten just further demonstrates the level of idiocy. Good lord.

This gentleman and coach humbled someone who clearly disrespected the art of boxing and his gym. In reality, he could have easily destroyed this guy. Well done. A little dose of humility probably saved him from something greater

Im a kickboxing coach. if i had that same kind of guy challenge me i would have actually knocked him out. purely because he had the balls to come to my gym. and challenge me, as if he knew what he was doing, so he dug his own hole. not my fault he didnt know what he was doing. so hats off to this coach, he went quite light on him considering how disrespectful he was.
