BUNS with Cottage Cheese and Icing
Butter dough:
450 gr. flour
100 ml. water + milk
6 gr. salt
75 gr. sugar
27 gr. pressed yeast or 9 gr. dry
3 eggs (150 g)
45 gr. butter, soft
Curd filling:
300 gr. cottage cheese (5 ... 9%)
2 tbsp. l. sugar
1 yolk
lemon zest or vanilla
1 tsp corn starch
1 egg + 1/2 tbsp. l. milk for greasing buns
1 cup icing sugar + hot water for icing
You need to bake buns at 395 F - 15 ... 17 minutes. The baking time and temperature will depend on the particular oven.
